WSOP.com Winter Poker Classic II Starts January 10
If you’re in Nevada or New Jersey, the WSOP.com Winter Poker Classic II begins on Sunday, January 10. In Nevada, there’s over $85,000 guaranteed, while in New Jersey, there’s over $80,000 guaranteed. Eight events will be held in each state on WSOP.com.
The first event in Nevada is a $200 No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry tournament with a $25,000 guarantee. It starts at 4:00pm PT on Sunday, January 10. In New Jersey, the guarantee is a bit higher at $30,000 and the opening tournament starts at 5:00pm ET.
The action ends on Sunday, January 17. In Nevada, the Main Event has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool, a $200 buy-in, and starts at 4:00pm PT. In New Jersey, the Winter Poker Classic II Main Event also guarantees $30,000, but starts at 5:00pm ET. Both Main Event winners will also score a champion’s ring.
WSOP.com will spread No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha during the Winter Poker Classic. Game formats include re-entry, rebuy, six-max, freezeout, and super turbo, with buy-ins ranging from $10 to $200. One event will be held each day in both states.
