Back in the summer, Dash Dudley beat 517 of the best Pot Limit Omaha players in the world to win the $10,000 PLO Championship event for the first World Series of Poker bracelet of his career. On Thursday, the American poker pro picked up his second bracelet win of the year by outlasting 475 other players in the WSOP Europe €550 Pot Limit Omaha event.

The final day of play started with just six players after Anson Tsang and Naor Slobodskoy were eliminated in seventh and eighth respectively on Wednesday.

Cards were in the air for just 30 minutes when Oshri Lahmani’s run at his first career WSOP bracelet came to an abrupt end. Ivo Donev raised to 210,000 from the cutoff,Lahmani called from the button and Oshri Lahmani defended his big blind. After the Qh7d3d flop, Back bet 500,000, Donev folded and Lahmani called all-in. Back showed AdJc5d3h for bottom pair with the nut flush draw while Lahmani had KhQs9h8s for top pair. The 2c turn was a safe one for Lahmani but the 3c river gave Back three of a kind and eliminated Lahmani in sixth place.

Donev’s day didn’t last much longer and he became Dudley’s first victim of the day. Dudley raised to 420,000 and Donev re-raise all in for 800,000. Dudley called and tabled AdAsQs7h which put him ahead of Donev’s JcJh6h 2c. The board ran out KsTd8hThAh to give Donev a flush but also gave Dudley a full house to send Donev out in fifth.

It took nearly an hour before the next player was eliminated and this time it was Back doing the work. Back called from the small blind before Ming Juen Teoh raised to 480,000. Back called and then lead out for 1,000,000 after the Kc7d2d flop. Toah called all in and turned over AhKs8c5s for top pair while Back was chasing a flush with Qd[9h6d4d. The turn was the 9c and the 5d river filled Back’s flush and Teoh was out in fourth place.

Denis Drobina found himself in Back’s crosshairs a little over an hour later and was unable to escape. After Dudley folded his button, Drobina moved all in from the small blind for 600,000 and Back called from the big blind. Drobina showed KdJs9h6d while Back turned over Ks4c4s3s. The AsQs5s flop eliminated all drama as the Ah and 8c filled the turn and river and Back’s flopped flush was good enough to eliminate Drobina in third place.

Despite having been responsible for three of the four eliminations, Back began heads-up play trailing Dudley in chips. Back held 4,700,000 and Dudley had 7,100,000. It took 45 minutes for Dudley to put the finishing touches on his second bracelet of the year. Back raised to 725,000 from the button and Dudley called. Both players checked after the flop came Ks6c5d. The turn was the 7s and Dudley bet 450,000 before Back moved all in for 1,600,000. Dudley called and showed QsJh9h8c for a turned straight while Back was drawing to an even bigger straight with AhTd9d7h. The Kd river wasn’t any help for Back and he was out in second place, giving Dudley the title and €51,600.
