The first two events of the GGPoker WSOP Super Circuit Online are in the books.

Sunday’s opening day of the WSOP Super Circuit Online on GGPoker awarded a pair of Circuit rings, helped push the site to a record-setting number of players on the site, and raised a six-figure donation to COVID research.

‘TheMadQueen‘ took down Event #1 ($1,111 Covid Charity Event) for $269,267 by beating a field of 1,595 entries. Finishing in second place gave ‘Igutu‘ a $193,604 bankroll boost while ‘asonthe river‘ picked up $139,203 for coming in third place. Fourth-place finisher ‘tiredfella‘ also earned a six-figure score, collecting $100,088.

$111 from every $1,111 buy-in went to the Nevada Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund and the total raised ended up being $177,045.

The second event on Sunday’s slate had a much smaller buy-in with a massive turnout. Event #2 ($55 Kick-Off Event) had 28,291 entries to build a $1,330,366 prize pool. ‘JuanMartinDelPotro54‘ navigated their way through all of them to win a WSOP Circuit ring and $137,120. Runner-up ‘jolen‘ had to settle for $97,302 while ‘ValueForNuts‘ walked away with $69,666 as the third-place finisher.
