Chris 'moorman1' Moorman added to his All-Time Online Money List lead by taking home an 888poker XL Blizzard title on Sunday.

Sunday proved to be the biggest day 888poker XL Blizzard action so far with another five tournament form the 34-event schedule taking place and over $280,000 in prize pools up for grabs.

Event #10 – $100,000 Tune Up ($160 buy-in)

Just two days after standing on the stage in the PokerGO Studios and accepting the PocketFives Legacy Award, 888poker ambassador Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman was back in online poker action and firing on all cylinders.

He hit the final table of Event #10 ($160 $100K GTD Tune Up) looking to add another significant score to his All-Time Online Money List leading $15.8M in lifetime earnings.

Moorman battled through the 539 players field (205 rebuys), navigated a tough final table that included fellow 888poker ambassador Ana ‘AnaMarquez’ Marquez (7th – $3,627) and Canada’s Michael ‘wywrotx’ Wywrot (4th – $8,593.20). Finally, Moorman, after having fired four bullets in the tournament, bested fellow UK grinder ‘Kroat.’ to take down home the title and $21,092.40 – the largest first-place prize to be awarded in the 2019 XL Blizzard to date.

As for ‘Kroat.’, in addition to his fantastic runner-up finish where he collected $15,456 for finishing in second, he also performed in one of 888poker’s 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event mega satellites, picking up a $12,600 package to the summer series. And, if that weren’t enough rungood for one day, he also took first place in the 888poker $50,000 Whale, chopping up the Sunday Major for a haul of $15,750.41.

The other six-figure guaranteed tournament on the schedule was the $215 buy-in $100,00 Mega Deep, one of the most popular tournaments of the week on 888poker. 534 total entries helped create a guarantee-smashing prize pool of $106,800.

Canadian ’69Gronk87’ took home the second largest payout of the day with his $20,494.92 first place prize, defeating Latvia’s ‘eight0808’ in heads up play. ‘eight0808’ earned $15,219 for second place while the UK’s ‘easylimp888’ took home $11,214 for his bronze medal performance.

Swedish crusher Jerry ‘Perrymejsen’ Odeen finished the tournament in fourth place, adding $8,544 to his already impressive $5.4 million in lifetime career earnings. Odeen currently sits as the #81-ranked player in the world.

Players really took to the $16.50 buy-in of the $50,000 Mini Tune up as 3,066 players (867 rebuys) juiced the prize pool to $58,995, ensuring that the majority of the final table would walk away with four-figure scores.

Romania’s ‘eduardokhaan’ earned the top prize of $8,792.61, fending off Russia’s ‘carnival007’ who finished as the runner-up, earning $6,430.45.

The micro-stakes grinders came out in force to battle in the $10,000 GTD Micro Tune Up. 2,151 players plus 822 rebuys helped push the prize pool to $14,870.

Sweden’s ‘Tommykorberg’ and Russia’s ‘softipml’ wrapped the tournament in a heads up deal that helped both of them turn their $5.50 buy-in into healthy four-figure scores. ‘Tommykorberg’ took home the largest portion of the prize pool, claiming $2,312.33 and the XL Blizzard title while ‘softipml’ added $1,800.60 to his bankroll.

In the late tournaments, 420 players (121 rebuys) took a shot at ending their weekend with a win. The $27,050 prize pool meant that all five of 888poker’s XL Blizzard events surpassed their guarantees on the day.

Malta’s ‘todacage’ nearly 100x his $55 buy-in by taking down the Event #13 XL title and banking $5,190.96 for first. ‘_SNS_’ from Ukraine finished as the runner up, earning $3,854.62 for his efforts and Canada’s ‘Nordybordbrg’ finished in third place for a $2,840.25 payday.
