Message From 22anygood

I have been coaching MTT poker for over 3 years, over that time I have been able to coach and improve various types of students, zeroing in on the parts of their game that need improving the most, in turn maximising their time with me as their coach. As I also have significant experience working in mainstream education, I can identify the needs of a student and help them achieve their targets when it comes to making them a better poker player.

Furthermore, my style of coaching aims to both improve the overall game of student in the time frame available as well as ensuring that the student enjoys and values this learning experience. As just like when it comes to playing poker it is important to enjoy learning it! Again, as I have coached a variety of students with a variety of needs, I have become very adaptable as a coach and can cater to practically any type of coaching that students might require. Essentially every student that I have coached would be happy to recommend my coaching abilities to any new students.

Examples of different types of coaching I can offer are:

Overall pre-flop range development

In depth hand history analysis (leak finding and exploitative elements)

Using poker tools such as Equilab and Hold Em Resources to crunch the numbers on spots pre and post flop.

Assistance with HUD and monitoring of HUD numbers to see if adjustments can be made.

Use of software to look at the theoretical side of the game.

I am good winner on every poker site I have put significant volume into, feel free to sharkscope any of my poker aliases.

Some of my major scores include:

Final mini FTOPS main for 42k
Bigger 109 chop 33k
Big 109 win 25k
Big 55 chop 13k

These go alongside dozens of scores between 3k and 10k on various sites.

Notable recent scores include:

3rd Sunday Bounty Builder 44 5.7k total
Hot 11 2nd 3.4k
2nd Big 27 (chop) 2k
4th Hot 22 2.1k

Lessons are 35 dollars per hour.

Packages could potentially also be arranged which will also mean a reduced rate per lesson depending on how many lessons are purchased in the package. For example, if a student buys a pack of 5 lessons the price would be 160 dollars (32 per lesson).

James is a great coach and if you're looking for help to improve your game he is definately your man.
Even if you already play for quite some time he helps you to build solid fundamentals and a good foundation of technical understanding for the game which is key to improve.
He is super flexible and uncomplicated regarding the times of the sessions and not cutting the session if 1 hour is finished but takes the time to finish the topic you are working on.
I think the price he takes for one session is worth x times of what you will get in return if you really want to work on your game. Definetely +EV this guy.

I had this review originally done in early December and forgot to put the finishing touches on it. It’s the middle of January now and I’ll just add that I shipped the Sunday Big $33 on New Years and took 2nd a couple weeks before. I want to thank James for his coaching and time.

(Back to what I started)

Turned 21 last November and started getting more into poker. Had decent success to start out - shipped Nightly $11 (Carbon) and chopped up a live tourney for a couple k as well. And my journey kind of started from there - I knew that I could improve my game, and I wanted to. I wanted to be a student of the game and get better. I got PT4, and started using programs like SnG Coach, ICMizer, and eventually sought out James around May.

I probably had about 10 sessions with James so far and look forward to more. James has a great understanding of the game and know’s how to put it into an educational component. I would defiantly recommend coaching to anyone who wants to improve their game and develop their thought process.

I decided to seek for coaching because I was struggling with my transition from cash game(mostly live cash games) to online tournaments. James has been coaching me for one month now and I find him very knowledgeable and helpful. My improvement is huge, I finished 3rd in Bounty Builder 44 on stars right after the first session with him.
During our sessions he not only provides excellent hand history reviews, but also teaches me about game selections, mental games etc which are also extremely valuable.
I recommend him for anyone looking to improve their game seriously.

I have had quite a few sessions with James now and am really feeling a lot more confident. James is friendly and approachable. From the first session, James quickly saw areas we could work on. We have spent the sessions going through HH and looking at certain spots. Each session brings new ideas and concepts to put into my game. The lessons are very interesting with lots of interaction.

The added time i have spent working on poker with James has payed off as i recently chopped the mini million on stars for $12.6k.

I would recommend James to anyone who wants to improve. James explains his thoughts very clearly for great, great value.

James is a solid coach, all round nice guy and will help you to improve your game massively.

He will thoroughly analyse your hand histories(out of lesson) and then go over key hands in your live sessions, while still being able to read all the notes he has written whenever you want. Essentially you will be getting more than you paid for and then some, the best value coach you can get.

He is great at spotting ways to solve leaks in your game and, with his background in teaching, is able to effectively explain situations. He has great knowledge of population tendencies and game/site selection which will help squeeze out that extra ROI.

James is very easy to get along with and always willing to work around any schedules you may have.

He is insane value so you wouldn't want to miss out before the prices inevitably start rising!

Did 10 hours with James. Great guy, always learned a lot from every single lesson. I really appreciated the time he took aside the lesson to answer my questions and give his feeback on hands I just played, this was immensely valuable! I think at that price he is really a bargain, go for it before he increases his price!

James and I have spoken poker over the last 2 or so years. I can vouch for his abilities and his simple way of conveying his thoughts on hands and situations. $50 an hour is printing money for the service james is offering and I can guarentee it'll more than pay for itself. Gl guys

After playing for the past few years, James is the first time I've gotten coaching. He is articulate and informative and has helped me considering things that I simply hadn't thought of before. Despite using his services for under a month, the tweaks to my game and alteration of my thought process has I feel, put me on the right path to further success. Given the low cost and flexability of his coaching, I'd recommend him to anyone.

I have been using James as a coach for around one month now and can honestly say my overall game has improved significantly. James has an in depth knowledge of the game and relays information in an easy to digest manner. Not only has my In The Money percentage increased but I recently finished 3rd in the Hot 11 on Pokerstars. I feel the service James offers is incredible value for money and I would recommend anybody looking to improve their all round poker ability should look no further! I will continue using James as a coach for the foreseeable future.

James is excellent value for coaching at $50/hour and I have no doubt he would be able too make any willing student a massively profitable player.

Have known James for many years and believe his understanding of poker and theory to be very sound. He is also incredibly trustworthy and is one of the few people I would genuinely vouch for.

He comes from a teaching background is thus very suited to coaching. He's very open minded, flexible and is willing to consider the merits of lines that he may not have taken himself, I think this is a very important quality in a coach, and honestly at $50/hr I'd be very surprised if anyone was offering better value for money.

James is one of two main poker players I frequently undergo review sessions with. His technical understanding is as good as anyones. Coming from a teaching background, his articulation of problems and general coaching philosophy is second to none. Would highly recommend and is an absolute steal at said rate!

I've been coached by James for the last 4 months and can say with full confidence that my game has improved significantly in that time. I look forward to our weekly sessions and James has always been very flexible and willing to accommodate my coaching needs. As well as helping me plug my leaks and doing detailed HH analysis, James' knowledge of typical regs' tendencies, the fields of specific tournaments and a general understanding of the modern online MTT landscape has been of real value to me, as someone who is only able to play part time.

Over the last 4 months since I started coaching I have been winning at an ROI of 66% across all sites at an abi of $15 over 2000 games, which includes my largest ever score (€12.6k for 3rd in the Summer Special on stars.fr).

Overall I consider James' coaching to represent excellent value for anyone looking to improve their game at low-mid stakes and I look forward to continuing my progress under his coaching.
