    I saw this:

Every bet is an in-play bet
The dedicated in-play section isn’t the only spot to find action for a game in progress. DraftKings uses a live ticket system that essentially turns every bet into an in-play bet.

    Here’s the explanation from Hannigan-Daley:

We think this is really going to change the way people are following their bets. It’s not something that’s currently available in the US in any capacity.

Once you’ve actually placed a bet, as odds are changing, we’re going to give you the opportunity to cash out that bet early — before it’s even settled. Before the outcome is actually known.

After placing a bet, open tickets show a “Cash Out” button. Its live value will fluctuate based on pregame or in-game activity.

For example, say you bet $5 on the Red Sox moneyline, and the opposing pitcher pulls a hamstring during warmups. As the lines adjust, you may find that your ticket is worth more than $5 before the game has even begun. Its value would increase further if, for instance, the Sox jumped out to a big lead in the first inning.

This system applies to parlays, too, in which bettors wager on the combined outcome of multiple games. If first leg of a parlay comes through but you get cold feet on the second, you can redeem your ticket at its current value.

Linking the in-play and traditional betting markets together might prove to be the biggest innovation from the DraftKings team.

  3. Yeah, but i like that they are bringing all the real off shore features to NJ. There was more to that article, i just pulled that part.

Can you even do that in Vegas?

  4. No way you can do that at a sportsboik. Doubt Will Hill offers anything like that eitger

  9. Like 6 mobile apps have released in the last week.

I can bet every side or total in the NFL today at -107.

Im shocked that all of these options have given us good lines...

  11. Before the mobile apps launched... there were some absurd baseball/golf/ect moneylines being thrown out. Obv cause there was no competition.

Go read the first few pages of this thread if you want a laugh. Guys predicting the spreads would be -120+.

-130 is incidentally the best odds you can find in canadian lottery sports betting (for an even money bet) i think ive seen some over-unders at -110 but they were over unders where the other side is -130 lol

I was completely wrong, obviously. There is no way to "dyz" out of it and retroactively change what I meant.

  16. I wanted to check into this thread before depositing on bookmaker or 5dimes. I am not in a legal state for betting, are those two above mentioned my only options? These sportsbooks mobile apps are only for the states that have already legalized correct?

  21. Was playing poker at borgata yesterday and sports betting came up and guys were saying the same shit as you guys. Saying lines wete gonna be -120 or -130 it all bullshit when the state gets involved.

Then i tell them i bet games on sunday at -107 and they were all confused.

So dont worry. People in NJ are just as clueless as you guys

Between live and mobile, theres like 20 sportsbooks in town with tons more coming. These guys need to compete to get customers.

If someone is offering -120 lines right now, they will get zero business.

  24. I apologize in advance if I am missing the point but how are people on OT and the guys at the borgata predicting -120/-130 when you are getting -107 because it's legal and therefore more competition? Just your personal example alone is a case for legaliztion and the juice going down because more and more books are going to be available.

  25. When lines first came out at the first sports books, the odds were terrible. As competition has grown, the odds have gotten better.

    Its not rocket science.
    Add Jaybone2315 to Rail
  26. I get that Jay, and that's what I posted above you last response... I am very well versed on supply and demand and free market competition. I think where the confusion lied is when you posted people predicting higher juice at -120 and above. But after re-reading I think you posted that before the supreme court ruling. Regardless, were on the same page. I was never questioning you but the people you were saying were getting -120 and above.

Even if juice was at -120... the old online books and local bookies would beat that, so don't know why anyone would ever take more than -110/-115.

  27. Clay Travis is a complete joke when it comes to sports touting. Just taking advantage of the idiots in the South who believe what anyone says. He's spot on with almost everything else though (with the exception of the Lochte/Brazil incident). So many things I have said and then later he is the only sports guy to make the same point. but like I said, he has absolutely no clue on gambling and got killed last year.

  29. I would assume its -110 at all live sports books. I havent been in them to check, but its safe to assume you wont get less than that in b&m anywhere for obvious reason. Let me know if you need that basic concept explained to you too
