1. This year's LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles still has over 20 events left on their schedule. The biggest event is the $10,000 LAPC Main Event, one of the rare Main Events without re-entry or multiple Day 1 flights, running from February 25 - March 2..

    Key events remaining include:

    Event 36: $570 NL Hold'em (single re-entry per flight - $300,000 Guaranteed) Feb. 9-12

    A freeroll with one $60 add-on awarding the winner a $10,000 WPT LAPC Main Event seat on Feb. 12

    Event 44: $1,100 NL Hold'em (single re-entry flight - $1,000,000 Guaranteed) Feb. 15-19

    Event 46: $1,650 NL Hold'em (single re-entry - $500 bounty) Feb. 19-20

    Event 53: $5,250 NL Hold'em ($200,000 Guaranteed) Feb. 22-23

    There are also plenty of ways to get into the LAPC Main Event at a huge discount with $225 satellites running at 7pm Sunday-Friday nights, guaranteeing at least one seat. Every night at 9pm features $150 Mega Satellites, guaranteeing three $1,100 Mega Satellite seats.

    $1,100 Mega Satellites into the LAPC Main Event take place at the following times:

    February 11 - 7pm (2 $10,000 seats Guaranteed)
    February 18 - 7pm (2 $10,000 seats Guaranteed)
    February 22 - 8pm (10 $10,000 seats Guaranteed)
    February 23 - 8pm (10 $10,000 seats Guaranteed)
    February 24 at 12pm, 5pm and 8pm (guaranteeing 10 $10,000 seats)
    February 25 at 4pm and 8pm (guaranteeing 5 $10,000 seats)

    There's also several events taking place after the LAPC Main Event:

    Event 56: $2,140 NL Hold'em 6-Max - Feb. 26
    Event 57: $5,250 Pot-Limit Omaha 7-Handed w/ Rebuys - Feb. 27
    Event 58: $2,140 Dealer's Choice - Feb. 28
    Event 59: $25,000 NL Hold'em 6-Max Turbo - Feb. 28
    Event 60: $1,100 NL Hold'em ($1,000 bounty, winner gets $9,000 with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool) March 1.

  2. Day 1 of the LAPC Main Event ended with almost 500 players, with late registration remaining open until 1:30pm PT. At least 306 players return with Nick Maimone leading the way with 187,000 chips.
