FOOLISHGOLF, CWTREFEREE and AMANDAW11 are confirmed cheaters/colluders on UB

Question

  • 0

So as some of you may or may not know foolishgolf, cwtreferee and amandaw111 were found guilty by UB of colluding at a final table in which they finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd. There were a couple other tournies where foolishgolf and cwtreferee both finished in the top 3 and unfortunately I was at one of those final table's where I came in 4th. Also the guy that came in 3rd in that tourney happens to be friends and I believe was backed by foolishgolf which I find is very suspicious but Im going to let UB security run there investigation before I start pointing fingers.

I am starting this thread to make people aware of what these guys did and I recommend anyone who has played with them in the past to look through your tourneys not only on UB but Stars and FTP as well and try to find any tourneys where they might have had the chance to do the same thing. Obv it would be much harder for them to cheat/collude on a site like ftp and stars because the fields are much bigger but if you do find something suspicious/odd it probably would not hurt to send an email to whichever site it was on and ask for an investigation and also post it here. We do not need people like this in our community and we should do whatever we can to keep cheaters like these guys off the table's at all cost.

Thanks for your time.

typo in the title it is AMANDAW111

Dude amandaw or whatever the fuk your name is : you are such a piece of shit scumbag---all you do is point fingers back at people like your are in 4th fucking grade. Your posts make me nauseous and your lack of humility concerning this matter makes me want to punch you in the fucking face if i ever see you in public. Delusional people like you make this world a shittier place to live, specifically in our little online poker community. I hope you know that with every post that you write, it makes you look more and more like a complete and total douche.

P.S. Nice screenname choice btw: I'm sure you wanted everyone to think "AMANDAW111" was a girl...too bad you suck at poker/life

Love,

BeanzMcGriff

lol'd thx beanz

not sure if that will stop multiaccounting

If it was a felony offense some people would think a little bit harder about trying it. Im sure it would not stop it all together but maybe slow it down.

They have caught cheaters in my local casino, The Horseshoe Indiana, and they handcuffed them and took them to jail. One guy I heard got 2 years. If they could enforce that do you think it would be done as much?

great point, but if you are running one account off your router ip address, and another off your ipad or droid which when used as a hub has it's own ip address, I really dunno how they could prove it, unless the ip address of the hub changes to the ip address at whatever location the mobile device is being used from. I'm sure there's a tech geek out there that knows the answer to this question, I do not.

So how do these guys set up these accounts. Use fake addresses and names? If they win do they just ship the money to thier other account to cash out?

I'm just not that good at poker to even think about cheating as it wouldn't help, but i can assure you from working in the finance industry that if you place the carrot near enough and make it big enough then they will come and try to bite it.

We are talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars, cheat for 6 months and survive for 5 years or more - foolish showed this by his winnings over a three week period. Whilst he colluded with a couple of other players we are not entirely sure he didn't have three seats at the FT anyway under his own name - who the heck knows how far or deep his cheating went.

I would suspect that if you cheat you wouldn't stop at just having one chance and then if you are lucky to FT with your mate to collude together - this doesn't appear to me to give you enough of an edge or % to win - I suggest it went much further and we really have no idea, we also have no idea how rampant it is at midstakes levels.

I can clearly see the picture of the geek in his room with 5 laptops and 5 logins (mates and gf) all with their aircards - allowing all independent ip addresses, sitting at one tourney with 5 entries and sometimes being at the same table, this scenario is just so easy to do - I would like the poker software to demand chat from each player at certain times of the tourney, as well as photo id to get a login, as well as the poker software allowed to use the webcam to take a picture of you if you make the FT of any tourney or at any other time as it sees fit, as well as allowing them to ring you at anytime that you are playing to determine who is playing by asking specific questions etc...

This could be a start to cleaning up the poker underworld which i'm sure is worth millions to the people involved.

This would probably work too, but I dont see them doing it anytime soon. Maybe with Sunday Majors, but there is too much volume to have sites calling on every FT

Dunno if that was true pre-cereus - but currently, if you are logged into one of the clients, you cannot login on the other.

You can open both at the same time I just tried it. Have two laptops side by side AP and UB and I am looking at same cash table. I opened an empty play table and was seated at UB but when I tried to sit at AP it said I alreay had a player associated at the table. I am closing one site now I dont want to get in trouble hehe.
