2011 OT March Madness Pool!

Recommended Posts

It's that time of the year again. Selection Sunday is this weekend, but we can join our groups now. Also, we can get a head start on paying the entries.

What: March Madness NCAA Pool

Where: www.espn.com

Cost: $50 and $200. If you play the $200, you MUST enter the $50 as well. Those playing the $200 have the option of using the same or different entries for the 2 leagues. Also, you may enter as many times as you like as long as you pay for each entry. (That's what she said.)

How to Pay: Preferably Stars or FTP, but I can make arrangements for checks or Paypal. No other sites will be accepted. Name on Stars is BigGunX and name on FTP is MuckinA.

You can either go to www.espn.com and follow the links through "Fantasy,", "Tournament Challenge," and then search for the league. Or, you can follow the direct links below:

$50 league: http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/en/group?groupID=19372

$200 league: http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/en/group?groupID=19376

Password for both: Madness

Non-P5ers are welcome to play. However, please send me a PM or post in the thread if you have friends, family, etc playing, as well as their entry name. This is always the most difficult to track.

For the P5ers that are playing, please use your P5s name as your entry. Then, either post in the thread or send me a PM with your poker site name that you used to send your fee. This makes my life much easier.

Once the first game begins, the entries are locked. Payment is due NLT one hour before tipoff of the first game of the Round of 64.

The scoring system is the typical March Madness format. The Round of 64 is worth 10 points, the Round of 32 is worth, 20 points, and so on, doubling each round. It is more important to have semi-finals and finals correct than it is to get a perfect Round of 64. PLAY-IN GAMES DO NOT COUNT. The Round of 64 is the first round that is scored. Points in the title game is the tiebreaker.

Exact payout spots will be determined after I see # of entries. It will be somewhere around 10% of total entries, though. 1st place will receive 40% of the prizepool.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for playing!
