Sir

Chino Rheem suspended from Epic Poker League

Recommended Posts

Because that would be illegal

it wasn't a literal question... but oookaaaayy then don't allow him to play?? idk it just seems like EPL wants to stay in the limelight but not take any action at all. EPL seems to be like a league ran by the pros, almost like a democracy. they could've barred him from playing to begin with, but instead they wanted everyone to play their inaugural event, then when he won, they felt like they should step into to take this phony action. now he is on 'probation', and I highly doubt EPL will deny the first event winner to not play in the next event...

So when you read the article it opened up many questions for me. If your backed and your backer gets 70% does he/she pay the taxes on the 70%? For the 10% to charity is that before or after taxes? For Chino's cut of 20% doesn't sound like he paid any taxes. I'm gonna say the IRS is going to be knocking soon. He'll end up like Richard from Survivor, or Denzel Washington, in the clink for tax evasion.

You would think they wouldn't have Annie "UB Schill" Duke be the commissioner if they were so worried about what people do off the tables. I don't mind they kicked Chino out, its up to them, but I do mind the hypocritical nature of having someone that was directly responsible for people trusting UB being the commissioner of this same league. Its just one of many reasons I will not be watching a minute of this league and hope it fails.
