Merge Deposit and Cashouts

Recommended Posts

I have WU option and never even knew! Will be using this method until I get my roll off the site. I'm also capped at 4 tables max. Wonder if being capped and having WU have anything something to do w each other. Is there anyone that has WU option and not capped on how many tables u can play? Curiousity is kicking in?

Yes I know dudes who arnt capped with this option.

i was capped a long while back, ive only ever had the option of check, when ive asked why they refused to give me a answer

Matt -- was disturbed when you stated this earlier as I had wrongly assumed all the older Merge players had bank wire/direct deposit and we were grandfathered in -- when for whatever reason Merge decided last year that new players would not receive this option. Since you corrected/enlightened -- have serious doubts re. their operations and trying to transition to WPN (ACR and PHost)....but I like the Merge software and being a Rec Player -- taking me longer than it should. :(

some new player do have multiple withdraw options some don't. There is no rhyme or reason to who has theses options. Merge tells me I dont qualify for the WU option even though I did receive one this year

ya ,i hear ya, i also like the merge software, ive never played on ACR, and bovada software seems prehistoric although cashouts are really good there if the anon play doesnt bother you, still holding my breathe for CA.... stubborn AF

WPN = quick cash outs. Tested and received monies from ACR and PHost within 4-5 days (bank wire/direct deposit). Just wish I liked their software.

Agree re. CA legislation. IMO taking longer than it should...allowing politicians to scoop up as much $$ from supporters while they 'slowly' create something that can be passed....

Now this makes me more uneasy CharlieDee! IMO not to treat all players equally = wrong and just keeping some happy = Ponzi Scheme. Frankly -- I need to learn to love WPN's software.

Charlie, I used to have WU, had it for quite awhile but it was removed when the switch to the Jazzette cashier happened and they've refused to give it back to me. I've played on Carbon since 2008.

.

You get used to the software, I don't mind it at all now. The customer service has always been great and I've received WU withdrawals and checks. WU took 1 day and 1 check took 3 weeks (it was money on BlackChip when they moved from Merge so took a bit longer) and under 2 weeks for the other one.

They still host a thread (2 I believe) on 2p2 and are very responsive to what the players want, but....

Wpn sucks for low limit players (low limit=$55 and under)

They got an almost daily $30 $10k some $6rs and thats like it

This and this part has gotten worse lately instead of better. It's a great site if you play high stakes MTT but for midstakes and lower it's tough to build a roll. PLO is soft as hell though at the lower levels and so is NLH.

Update on my withdrawal:

Requested 2/25

Processed 4/14

In route 4/16 - currently in Memphis with FedX per tracking information

Dixie ... for me -- this entire thread is worrisome and discouraging. Frankly, sometimes I wish I had never gotten addicted to this game or joined P5...being ignorant and in my own little bubble does have its benefits. :( If I had read something like this when I first started playing on Merge...might have continued to be happy with my eBay addiction, where I can win whenever I want and receive my 'win' in a matter of days! ;)

Merge is just terrible at payouts, they have some weird business agenda which I think is mostly to discourage winning regs from playing there. I believe they are financially solvent, just poorly run by morons with MBAs who think they've come up with a way to create a situation for them to make the most off their players. i.e.:

You can't deposit if you have a pending cashout

You can't stack checks anymore

Winning cash game players get put on a 4 max table limit

They very much and very weirdly with no rhyme or reason dole out different methods of withdrawals

Every single time the site started to build up in the tournament area they did something to slow it down

Agenda: Discourage regs as much as possible, create a fun site for the fish who will play around in the casino and do plenty of sports betting and fool around at poker on the side.

Everyone knows sites make more money off non-winning, recreational, net depositing players. These are the players Merge wants and so they do everything they can to push away the regs when too many start coming back. I've seen it happen almost every year since BF.

Let's look at the numbers, the avg. cashout takes 7weeks, it's 52 weeks in a year, with a max of $2500 per cashout, 52/7=7.4, that's 7 cashout per year, 7*2500=$17.500 per year we can expect from Carbon, that's not even minimum wage

That would be true, except it's not always 7 weeks. There are usually 2 quarters of the year when it's like this and the other 2 quarters they actually do pay out as quickly as 2 weeks and almost always hit the 3 to 5 mark. Still I'd hate to have a lot of money tied up on there.

Decided to play on CP/Aced. Checked to see if I still have all of my previous cash out options. Discovered check is now my only option! Did live chat and asked what happened to my bank wire/direct deposit + other cash out options. They did not know. Told them I would no longer play on their site after tonight.

Then checked my PO and SB accounts to see if I still had bank wire/direct deposit. Still available. SO....emailed them asking if they planned to take away my cash out options like CP/Aced did. Waiting to hear back from them.

Love the Merge software and bored by WPN's software...but this is making it easier for me to transition to WPN.

Structure is phenomenal on winning but game selection isn't the best. I prefer Merge software as well. I wish winning had a schedule similar to merge then it would be a no brainer. GL man!

Just received email from CP saying I was looking at my withdrawal options in my Aced (nitwoutborders) account and if I logged into CP (Miwa2906) -- all previous withdrawal options still available. CP admitted they took away options in my Aced account. Did major sad whining in my email to CP...said I was an old woman and the Rec Player they are trying to cater to and I must feel my money is safe depositing/cashing out, therefore wouldn't play if I didn't have bank wire/direct deposit. Did same whining in email to PO and their response = reassurance that they would not be taking away my cash out options. (Moral of story: Pays to be a whiney sad mom with 2 kids in college...)

However, after reading this thread --as I've said earlier -- I am going to try to love WPN because I believe there is something not right if ALL players are not treated the same. But relieved I have more time to transition off of Merge.
