"Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Really? If my heart is more fond of you when you're in another state/country, is that really a positive sign for the relationship? And for some people, I think that absence just makes them want some strange....

I use most of these sayings in this thread on a regular basis, both at home and at work. I love them.

My wife is Spanish (Ecuadorian) and I say "it is what it is" in Spanish since you just spell the word S.O.C.K.S----> Es o si que es.... or something, I saw it on a commercial for language learing

the onlything that bothers me is when people take the Christ out of Christmas ie; xmas
