Questions,Concerns and suggestions for ACR Rep

Recommended Posts

When does WPN plan to incorporate the suggested changes and improvements, ie: larger fonts for chat, chip stacks, pot, etc., which makes multi-tabling easier and keeping " individual" players' chats turned off after disabling their chat, etc.?

Hope this is done before your next Milly in Sept. and your Millys in Oct.

Thank you.

yes. fonts need to be a major priority

I don't know if my case is unique, or if everyone is experiencing this, but ever since I've upgraded to Windows 10, all WPN clients are giving me problems when I try to access the cashier or the rewards tab. The popup box comes up as normal, but the only thing showing is a blank white box.

This is happening on all clients I've used - ACR, True, BCP.

Hello,

Would you please uninstall the poker software and install it again, this should fix the issues you are experiencing at the time. Also, please make sure to use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer when opening the cashier or the rewards section.

Please let me know if any other inconvinience.

Regards

Ive been having problems with the software and its use of internet explorer. I get the same things, buttons that dont work or dont appear ,etc. especially in the sportsbook. I forget exactly what support told me to do but it didnt work, had to do with the active X version i use if i remember right.

You say to use firefox instead. Thats a great idea but I find no way to change what browser ACR uses when you open a page like the cashier or sportsbook and apparently ACR support doesnt either since the multiple times I ve addressed this issue with them switching browsers has never been mentioned as an option.

Could you explain how this can be done? ( Changing the default browser)

Good day,

Please follow the steps bellow:

1- Clean your cookies and temporary internet files, once this step is done please close the software and continue with the next one.

2- Update the latest version of Java

3- The Sports section does not open with a browser, instead is part of the software, rest assure if you update the lastest version of Java should work.

4- Best way to open your cashier section or rewards store is by copying the link once is opened on Internet Explorer and paste it in a Mozilla Firefox browser.

5- If you updated your Windows version to 10, please unistall the poker software and install it again.

If you keep having issues with your software, please contact our live help support or send us an email to Support@AmericasCardRoom.eu

Regards

Freebuy events cancelled and rescheduled

On Sunday, August 30th, we at Americas Cardroom were forced to cancel Events #14, #15 and #16 of the $150,000 GTD Freebuy Super Series II due to technical issues. All players were refunded their money.

Even though there was no way to foresee the problem, we take full responsibility and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

To make amends, we are rescheduling not only the three tournaments that were canceled, but all six on yesterday’s slate (see new schedule below). The rescheduled date is for Monday, September 7th, extending the Freebuy Super Series II by one day.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

We are really sorry about the issues and we tried to have it fixed quickly, unfortunately it was an ISP problem, it was not directly caused by us.

Again, we are really sorry and we are working on fixing these kind of issues. All tournaments that were affected were cancelled and refunded.

if you have any discrepancies please send us a private message with your user information.

Ok, so you deserve this rip! To be honest, Winning network is no worse than any other US "offshore" pos, but that's not a complement. I just ran 4 out of 6 jackpots where my 1st hand was auto folded by YOU! AND I received "refunds" in two MTTs that I held a chip lead in this weekend. And that's like the best thing I can say about your bs right now.

WTF?

Oh, yeah "you are really sorry about it and hope to fix it soon". Like this year?

On another matter, Can someone please explain why I have to see Fan Duel and Draft Kings commercial marketing, ALL DAY LONG, and I still have to play these pos poker sites?

Apparently talking to WPN security team on the phone is a NO GO... and their system responses to my questions are not acceptable.

So let me state what happened... and tell me what you guys think...

I had a "friend" (who turned out to be a snake SOB) who I knew from years ago when I played on Carbon. he found me on WPN and we reconnected via Skype.

He asked if he could use my Ip addresses via teamviewer to play on WPN. Said he couldn't get his working or some crap like that.

I reviewed the TOS and nothing in it states that players cannot share IP addresses. He used his own accounts and not mine to play. I told him he could not use my accounts. We did NOT play at the same time on the same tables on the same IP. We did not collude to cheat any players in cash games either. In fact we never played on any cash tables together at all.

He would use my IP at night while I was asleep. The other day he skypes me at 7 40ish am. Says he won a lot of money and that he had sent my account $240 that he owed me for staking him in some previous games. I said cool and asked how he won the money. Said he cashed some big tourneys and PLO HU at 10/20 tables.

A few hours later I get a message from a reputable P2P player who says that my friend owes him 4k. And he proceeds to tell me that my "buddy" had been colluding with 4 other players to sit at big satellites and lose to one player so that they win the main prize. Apparently they did this repeatedly and "won" several thousands of dollars. Which they then transferred to the P2P guy and he sent them cash to their bank accounts. And that they had confiscated the 4k that the colluding players sent him from his account.

I skyped the cheater and told him that he owed the guy P2P guy 4k and didn't hear back. I sent him several messages later as well. he did not respond obviously.

A few hours later my accounts were suspended and my cousins because of our "association" with the cheaters accounts. This association being the "shared Ips".

I told them I had nothing to do with what those players were doing and was not involved and sent them the screenshots proving this. I also told them that nothing in their TOS says that players cannot share IP addresses. Again, I never sat these games that he cheated in (was not even awake at the time) and NONE of my accounts or my cousins were involved in this scam (they used their own accounts).

So .. while I may have been gullible and stupid... I certainly did not collude with anyone to steal from the site. If I had I would imagine there would have been thousands of dollars worth of transfers in and out of my accounts as (like the cheaters apparently did).

I have since gone to my cable company replaced my modem and changed my information as well as running a virus scan on my pc and removing teamviewer and will NEVER let anyone use my IP again.

I have requested that my accounts be re-opened since I did NOT participate in the stealing.

What do you all think ...

GET SOME PHONE SUPPORT FOR WPN SECURITY TEAM.

I WILL CONTINUE TO POST THIS UNTIL I GET A SATISFACTORY RESOLUTION.

So let me state what happened... on 9/29

He asked if he could use my Ip addresses via teamviewer to play on WPN. Said he couldn't get his working/validated or some crap like that.

2. He used his own accounts and not mine to play. I told him he could not use my accounts.

3. We did NOT play at the same time on the same tables on the same IP in any MTT. "We" (him and I) did not collude to cheat any players in cash games either. In fact we never played on any cash tables together at all.

He would use my IP at night while I was asleep. The other day (9/29) he skypes me at 7 40ish am. Says he won a lot of money and that he had sent my main account $240 that he owed me for staking him in some previous games but that he could not send me the other $200 he owed me because he was capped on transfers. He offered to chip dump the funds to me in an SNG..I refused stating that I did not want my account flagged. I asked how he won the money. Said he "cashed some big tourneys and PLO HU at 10/20 tables".

A few hours later I get a message from a reputable P2P player (who handles transfer between players to and from skins and to and from players bank accounts) who says that my Skype buddy owes him 4k. And he proceeds to tell me that my "buddy" had been colluding with 4 other players to sit at big satellites and lose to one player so that they win the main prize. Apparently they did this repeatedly and "won" several thousands of dollars over the course of the night. Which they then transferred to the P2P guy and he sent them cash to their bank accounts. And that they had confiscated the 4k that the colluding players sent him from his account.

I skyped the cheater and told him that he owed the guy P2P guy 4k and didn't hear back. I sent him several messages later as well. he did not respond, obviously.

I have requested that my accounts be re-opened since I did NOT participate in the stealing.

I want to know why my accounts are still closed when I have proved that I had nothing to do with this scam.

My accounts were NOT involved and server log ins and games played on their accounts vs mine will show that I was not involved.

I have never even played the satelittes they played on my accounts.

WHY DOES WPN SECURITY TEAM REFUSE TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE ON THE PHONE?

There is NO reason my accounts (nor my cousins) should be banned. OUR accounts were NOT involved in this BS.
