Pokerstars is a disgrace!

I love the people that reply absolute bullshit to these kind of posts and support the sites that are stealing money from them. Can you not see how shady everything about pokerstars is? They are based somewhere where they can be completely unregulated by anyone of any consequence so they can call anything they want random! The software apparently runs on the same rng as a slot machine so no wonder it always feels like you always lose in the long run no matter how you try and play! What the fuck do you have to do to get babysat to win on pokerstars?

How come I've pulled so much $ off that site then? Maybe you guys just suck and cry way too much?

Just a thought.

Hello,

I am a bad online player, at my best I was about a 6/10. Live im a 7/10 I would say. Anyway, I feel really good today.

I BANNED myself for life from pokerstars. Lost 500$ US in the last 60 days. In the next 60 I will buy lots of pizza and enjoy life for a change instead of being angry all time because of a computer program.

Good luck in your live play!!!

If you play online.... cash out, ban, live!!!

Nooooooo please come back I miss your monies already :(

BTW, lol.

I don't know what people think but it is very clear to me that Jokestars is based on something else than chance or "variance".  The odds don't really matter on there.  When you play live poker, once in a while, somebody will have exactly the needed card in pocket to complete a good hand but it's the exception.  On Jokerstars, I keep telling myself:  OK, the odds are strongly in my favor, only a pocket pair of 10's could beat me, so, go all in.  I do and then, guess what:  my opponent has a pair of 10's.  If this happened once in a while, it could be variance but it can't be, it's too frequent.  You can get 5 or 6 bad beats in a row and an incredibly high number of bad beats happening at the same table within a short while and it always favor the larger stack.  Today, I have AJ and flop is AJQ.  Betting takes place.  High enough bets.  I tell myself, the only pocket that could beat me would be K10.  What are the odds.  I go all in and guess what:  my opponent has exactly the only two cards that could beat me (K10).  I mean, get serious.  It defies all sense of logic.  Kids would see through that.  I know, people say:  don't play there if you feel it's rigged.  Love the game and would like to feel that it's played fairly on Jokerstars but I have had enough of their bad beats and their arrogance about claiming to be random, the crooks.  For me, it has taken the fun out of the game.  I feel saddened that this disgrace is allowed to go on.  It's the same with their pocket pairs.  Have you noticed that there are often two players getting pockets pairs at the same time, a very high proportion of the time to the point that it has become predictible.  It's not serious.  Love the game but hate this rigged site.

Hello players,

I am a paid representative from PokerStars. I am surely not a bot named Bob, rather Bryan is my name. I here to tell the truth behind PokerStars RNG. It is not rigged. Please deposit money so we make sure that it is safe. Play our fantastic tournaments with amazing guarantees. We are sure that you will make a great living and cash in every day for $10k+!!! Do not miss this opportunity. Don't play live poker because live poker is sure rigged with fake dealers that are cyborgs with human flesh, they know what cards come next and make sure that the house players win and take away all your money. Play on PokerStars, here such thing doesn't happen!

Regards,

Bryan Paris

Lmao...  what is the world coming to...  for God's sake, it happens on Jokerstars every darn minute...

...Just out of interest geezy, have you ever stepped back for a second and thought, "maybe I'm just really bad at poker and need to focus on improving my own play?" ever? and then, if you've thought there might be some credence in that thought, actually taken the steps towards making improvements?

I hate those arrogant statements... put the onus on the player rather than on the rigged structure of the game...  so, if you're so good, how much have you made playing their rigged game?

Every time I lose on jokerstars. I thought that it is just random and I am unlucky but yesterday something happened that told me something - either pokerstars is rigged or some people have the ability to see the future or use some kind of software to predict the board. Anyway here is what happened. I play 66 and my opponent calls. Flop 6QQ. I chek raise him. Turn J he bets I call. River 10, he bets I go all-in snap call and it turns out he had poket 10s. OK this shit happens and I know that it is something that happens in real life too. So I left with 80 cents on a zoom table and I was dealt A8. The next guy suddenly out of nothing goes all-in, I decided to call since I wanted to lose this money and start a new session or if I can make a bad beat to him to get back. So he shows poket hands and guess what - K5o. I was like WHAT? Maybe a missclick. Flop K5J. How the fuck did he know? All shady players on jokerstars are some kind of prophets.  I've seen some people fold, fold, fold and suddenly all-in. 73o vs AA, guess who wins? Then the same guy folds like 20 hands in a row and then again all-in with BS vs a Monster hand. Again his crappy cards win. I've won more money on the roulette in my local casino than on jokerstars.

Pokerstars is a rip off.  Last night playing a hold em tourney.   Im chip leader.  I go all in calling two other players (bounty tourney).  I had pocket nines.  The other players had A-10 and A-2.  Flop is 2-5-5.  Turn 5.  River 5.  Therefore the two players with the Ace split the pot.  It's a joke.  A fucking joke.

I played for about 3 years on Pokerstars, Full Tilt, Ultimate Bet and others. In all that time across ALL sites, I had ONE four of a kind. I have been playing at PPPoker for about 6 weeks and have had 21 four of a kinds. I have played about 5000 hands, mainly in the cash games. Although I haven't lost cash, as you get free "gold", I have noticed that the hands look more authentic. Many hands win on high card or a pair, whereas everyone seemed loaded on those other sites. I was convinced and now more so, that those sites where you pay money to play, are rigged to the teeth. As for who wins what, can you really know if a company shill has not kept the money in house. I would never again play on an online poker site for money. Something stinks there. (At PPoker you can have cash games bewteen your friends by registering a club, (it's easy), and you can be sure that the hands look and feel more realistic. This is not an advertisement for PPPoker. I am only stating what I have noticed, and it wasn't hard to, as I have played those other sites as well.

Cloudyspirits,

Thanks for your post.  I hear what you are saying and, actually, I have felt like that too, that on PS, at least, hands are loaded all the time (this makes it exciting and more enticing I guess).   I haven't played for a long time and don't plan on playing online anymore.  The option you refer to where you can play within friends sound very interesting.  I'll look this up.  Have a good day, stay well and stay safe.

I've been playing for a while and it is not poker it is slot machine where pokerstars give prefabricated hands to create action. It is not against you or me it's against everyone but the house players who play for the site and the bots they have. Non stop bad beat after bad beat.

I have observed patterns as well in the software that proves there is nothing random. Vast majority of time when you have the best hand you will lose. If there is a multi way pot with 3-4 players all in the weakest hand will win most of the time. It is against odds and mathematics.

Save your money and don't bother, play live.

Hi, PS is a scam,

Thank you for your  comment.  It does reflect my own experience on this site with bad beats.  What  you're suggesting makes a lot of sense, to me at least.  It is important to consider all opinions but after enough experiences of hands that keep coming to your opponents against the odds, it is normal for our brain to look for a rational explanation.  I like the one you are proposing.  I also like the way you put it in terms of this being a " preprogrammed slot machine" than poker.  This also reflects well the way I feel when I play on this site.  Have a good day and enjoy the nice weather.

PokerStars in Pa has a monopoly... the PSGC ( Pa state gaming control) board ensured that the Pa players could not have wsop during the World Series because the pandemic created such a cash cow for pokers stars with people not being able to go play live at the casino.. I would of loved to play the wsop from home during this time..  Poker star has made over 5 million During the pandemic.. and that wouldn’t of happened if pa players had a choice.. my question is now ... how much longer till we can have a choice of site to determine our play...

i had so many bad beats and cursed and swore non stop that i got banned many times and lost my chat privileges numerous times. I sent PS emails and once I got sent their complete document on their RnG software and how it all works.

Basically there is one hand in each dealt hand that is the winner if it gets to showdown, this hand could be 2,7 or AA or 3,9 etc.. Their logic is that some of those bad hands should be mucked and folded due to bidding. But because there are literally thousands of idiots and bots that don't act normally, those hands are quite often kept till showdown and hence we all get beat by shit on the reg.

Try to limit the pot size to limit your loss and only ever go allin with the nuts, on the river, not the nuts on the flop.......

Here's another cautionary tale on Poker Stars in PA.  If you happen to have two accounts in your house (not two accounts for you or you may well have a real problem), such as husband and wife, parent and child, etc., be sure to use two different bank accounts.  My wife and I had each opened an account in order to play in a friend's "home game" on the site.  As it turned out, she never played because, for reasons unknown, you can't access a "home game" from an iPad.  While the home game has long since broken up, I've continued to play in some low stakes tournaments and cash games.  However, I decided that once my account was exhausted, I was done with PS. Mainly, for the reason you folks have noted - horrendous bad beats.  But the other night I was fortunate enough to be part of a 4 way chop that brought in a few bucks, so I decided to make my first withdrawal.  After executing this by the procedure they prompted (that included providing the routing number and account number for my checking account), I decided that I might as well take out the original $25. lying dormant in my wife's account.  I did this following the same procedure with the same destination for the money - our joint checking account.  Well, didn't the shit hit the fan!  We both received e-mails that our accounts were suspended pending a "security investigation".  We were required to send copies of IDs, scans of a utility bill, as well as a picture with each of us holding our IDs.  Keep in mind that when we opened our accounts with the same physical address and using the same debit card to SEND THEM MONEY, nary a concern was mentioned.  Suddenly, when we want to withdraw, red flags are popping up like varmint heads in a game of Whac-a-Mole.  After two days and about 10 e-mails, I've finally received my money.   However, as of this writing, my wife's measly 25 bucks remains in limbo.

Are you stupid? Pokerstars don't operate from the Isle of Man so that they can be completely unregulated -- they operate from the Isle of Man so they can employee leprechauns that they ship over from Ireland and pay them half wages.

That's BS!  Everybody knows that leprechauns have a pot of gold and would never work for less than a decent wage.
