Pokerrr App

I’ve been playing in a few clubs on the pokerrr app the last few months. Basically it’s players play against others on the app and settle up the best day via PayPal Venmo or the many other pay apps. The club owners take a rake and are responsible for facilitating all the payouts.

Does anyone else play on here? Just curious your thoughts. They are certified by a random rng but just wasn’t sure if anyone had negative experiences on here I need to be aware of. Some guys win thousands on the app. Any positive negative input from your experiences appreciated.

All I'm gong to say is the same thing I always say.  Online poker joints make money when players lose.  When they lose, the app gets a rake.  The bigger the loss, the bigger the rake.  Then when you bust out you have to buy back in again and throw even more money into the system for them to rake.

If nobody ever busted out, and had to buy back in, eventually we would all be sitting at the table with no money, all of it raked off.  And we'd be saying:

Seat 1 - WTF?

Seat 6 - I got 1BB left.

Seat 3 - Where'd all the money go?

Seat 5 I thought I was about even.

Seat 2 - Yeah me too.

Seat 4 - This is Bull&^%$.

Lots of action flops and bad beats makes the poker sites money, and hides the taxing effect of the rake that slowly but surely siphons off all the money.  And these things are set up to do it.  We all deep down can feel it in out guts.  But there's this convenient thing called variance it can all be blamed on.  It's the perfect scam.  Nobody can prove a thing, and even if they could, Costa Rica and the Isle of Man don't give a shit.

Play there, try to take what you can, but don't delude yourself believing these places are something they are not.   They only exist to take your money, and for no other purpose.

I understand the sites and apps have to make money.

This is legit peer to peer players. No robots, no anything like the sites do. That's why I trust the App more. I have collected several thousands on the app this year so far so I am liking it.

Jared Bleznik himself plays on the app...

Good stuff then.  I wish we could put together a site with a couple thousand real genuine people.  No rakes no premiums we all just pay a straight monthly fee to take care of the bills.  15 or 20 bucks each to pay for the servers and bandwidth.   Play all you want unlimited, no fees.  Just like a home game.  Any profit the site may make off ads or whatever is paid back to the players in the form of a dividend.

No monkey business, no fuckery, real straight decks and games, just us doing our thing.   That's what I'd like to see someday.

I wouldn't now the first thing about going about how to get that done.  Using the interwebs is about the upper limit of my computer skill.  But if you think you can do it, I'll sign up.

The one main club I play in gives a lot of the rake money back in forms of TV's, tablets, promotional giveaways and $$$ freerolls.

The club owners have to keep some rake for the non payers and things like that, too. It's less rake than going to a damn casino...
