You got it in good so it cannot be too bad of a mistake. I think we want to tighten up when short on the bubble a bit, but we dont want to be folding hands like AQ. I'm getting it in here, but I am likely just shoving instead of raise/calling.

Also, the villain in this hand should not be operating heavy equipment.

he shoves thinking your trying to steal and hoping you will fold and I agree I would shove pre then he probably folds on the other hand the way you played it you got it in ahead and got unlucky but if you win that pot it puts you in a lot better position to win the tournament I don't personally play to just cash so I actually think you played it well and got him to put his chips in bad

With 3 before money to me it is shove or fold. If you not worried about cashing than shove, it is a good hand for shove in this situation. If you care about cashes and do not want to open your wallet too often just fold. If you straight fold you still got 13BB to work with.

While you're on the bubble, no chance you fold; as noted,  with effective stacks so shallow,  the lower variance play is simply to jam. If the BB wants to call off K8, nothing you can do about it. Meantime,  when you get a fold, you add 20 per cent to your stack without fight. This consideration is critical when trying to take a run at the real money.
