I’m not a big fan of cats, but if I owned one I would try train it to stay off of the kitchen counter tops. I would just say..No, kitty. You stay off them counter tops.

I remember the first time I found out about Barber Poles in Asain Countires. I was walking the Streets of Hong Kong on the Kowloon side circa 1994. I was in need of a haircut. So I was walking and was seeing single and double barber poles.  I also noticed the poles being at the front entrance of alleys and not really on the main street. I was curious to say the least.  So after a couple hours walking I decide to stop in a single pole shop at the back of an alley. I walk in and to my surprise, there were no barber chairs.   I was like, hhmmm. Weird.   Then this little 40s lady comes out and asks what I'd like, I said a hair cut.  Well 120 HK later, I was having all the semen I held sucked out of me.  Best haircut ever. Later I found out double barber poles meant even more fun.

What do you think are the most difficult challenges in playing and winning poker? And why? Please share it here.

I get bored playing the proper range and start playing hands I shouldn't or I start watching porn and get distracted.

This thread reminds me of the time I was walking around the French Quarter. I came around a corner and found a guy banging his head repeatedly against a brick wall. It was shocking... a sickening thud thud thud. I yelled at him and ran the few yards to intervene grabbing him by the shoulders. He looked at me startled and I asked immediately why tf he was pounding his head agaisnt the wall. He said cause it feels so good when he stops. Couldn't argue that.

I can't deposit on WSOP. They won't respond to my pleas for help. It's like they don't want my monies. I would call that a "difficult challenge."

I think my biggest problem is knowing when to stop playing. If I'm making money I continue thinking I'm on a good beat (until I'm not), and when I'm in a bad beat I keep pushing to make up for the money lost. Either way is bad and I honestly have difficulties on this.

Just curious, was there a time when things got out of hand and you lost all your money because of too much addiction? Did you consider getting a counselor at that time?
