  1. Good read Triple, sounds like you had a lot of fun.
  2. I know it can be frustrating waiting for money but this is not the solution. As with any business, respect and consideration go a long way. Harassing and threatening them with emails and phone calls daily will not help, if anything it will get you left on the back burner. They probably have a ton of funds in limbo due to a payment processor and can't just issue a check/credit you without being credited themselves first. On a brighter note, BTC requested 5/4 received 5/6
  3. Both newbie tournaments I'm in have busted players still showing as active. There are 18 players left in one and the payouts show 20, 22 left in the other and it shows 31. You click on the players name in the lobby and nothing happens because they have busted. Same thing happened the other day. Anyone notice this problem?
  4. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond, a lot of great replies. I opted to flat and wasn't happy about it. Honestly at the time I wasn't paying enough attention and thought I was in late position, not the sb.. big mistake there. Also unsure if 3x was his standard or not and the stats are pretty irrelevant as it was only 40-50 hands. "the opener might fold out some holdings that are flipping with you BECAUSE he is on the nitty side." true and good to think about. "set mining is pretty awful here" wasn't exactly mining, was prepared to get it in on low unconnected flops, may be a leak. "Everytime your reraise all-in is a smaller bet than 10x the initial raise there is no room for postflop play. " Will consider this in the future. "People hugely over value stats across small samples. " Guilty here. The squeeze stack behind did just that, original raiser jammed and I folded. Thanks again for the help. 5. Raiser was fairly tight 20/9. Awkward stack size, unsure of the best line here. 6. This was a great read. Congrats to the champion, much respect.
  7. Funny thing is I found his 25$ table and challenged him hu plo and he ignored me. Was seated at the hu table and everything..
  8. Billy, you played the hand awful and got stupid lucky. Thanks for the motivation for me to play more plo.. A top tier player offers sound advice you shit all over it? Get the fuck off p5's
  9. Enjoying the 4 and 6 max tourneys.. please do not remove them. thanks
  10. He's been killing it online then up and ships a card player live event for 30 big ones.. Congrats boss, keep crushing!
  11. Interesting thread, please post whatever documents you can DJ, think we would all like to see. At least give the guy a chance to prove what he is saying before calling names and counting out. Assume this is WPN? I'm not a fan..
  12. Flatting 8 3 soooooooted is not TAG, it's loose passive. Fold pre and tighten up your range.
  13. "just move to a country where its super cheap to have a cheff make you food every day." love this
  14. Sounds right. He graduated from scamming individuals to scamming the masses.
  15. Everything in perspective. Would be an unthinkable score for some players.. stay thankful and climbing.
  16. Congrats Gidsta, keep crushing!!
  17. Disagree with ship it is the only option. I'd like to know if these are hyper, turbo or regular speed. Hyper could lean towards shipping. If not, I see 15 bb effective and would rather not just rip ducks here prey for the best. I am fine calling 40 chips and releasing my hand when missed. There will be plenty of better spots I can take advantage of in position.
  18. A pocket pair is always nice heads up, deuces however not that excited about. I'm fine flatting the 22 out of position to set mine. If you spike another 2 you may be able to stack him. If I miss the flop here I'm just folding and looking for a better spot. Never leading here, just check fold. If he's bluffing then good for him. Pick a better spot in position.
  19. Another case of playing weak hands out of position when heads up. If you are going to play these spots, have a plan. Be prepared to: A) fold to his cbet when you don't smash the flop B) steal the pot C) smash the flop, build a pot and get his stack (will not happen often with 2 5) Again with the 750 starting stacks, I'm most often just folding pre here. It's one thing to raise 2 5 on the button, it's another to defend it. Play your position (button) and play it aggressively. You have to steal and float a lot more heads up. As played, I hate the donk lead (no offense that's just the term for this play where you lead out after being raised). I used to do it as well till some solid p5ers set me straight. If you flopped 2 pair, would you lead like that? People will often see through your bet and raise with air. Just check fold this flop, you are out of position with bottom pair, even if you improve you may be beat.
  20. I don't like the flat pre. You are out of position with 10 blinds, jam or fold pre. As played you only have a gutshot and backdoor flush draw, easy fold. With the short 750 starting stacks, you really need to pick your spots and play them aggressively. Flat calling a marginal hand out of position will just get you in trouble.
  21. Congrats to AJ with the double ship last night (nightly 33$ and 5$). Crushing..
