  1. For the second straight week, a well-known P5er won the Full Tilt$500k Guaranteed. This time it was Annette_15, who received just over $117k for beating out a field of over 3,000 entrants. Among those she had to beat to take down the event were P5ers boltsva (3rd), waitamin08(5th), and Kasedowgy(6th), who made a major final table on Full Tilt for the second consecutive week. Prageralso made the tournament review for the second straight week, as he took 5th in the Bodog$100k Guaranteed. He was one of six P5ers at the final table, including the top two finishers, eisenhower1and People_Mover. Tag5050took 4th in the event, while Hoffs28and Sir Brucefinished 8th and 9th respectively. Omoneyman0was the big winner this week, taking down the Sunday Million. A P5er who generally plays the lower buy in events, he won't have to worry about big buy ins any longer, as he achieved the highest goal of most online tournament players. Congrats to Omoneyman0, as well as P5ers DSnyder766and snugglez88, who also reached the final table. Tom "SBRounder" West(left) finished at the top of the field in the Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt this week, which was worth just over $36k. He beat out kafkaand farfromfear, who were the 4th and 5th place finishers, as well as tekiller, who took 8th place in the event. On Absolutethis week, bigdogpckt5swas the highest finishing P5er in the $150k Guaranteed, which once again had a $500 buy in. He took 3rd, and he was followed by xDANGERZONExand top-ranked Imper1um, who took 7th and 8th. More PokerStars freezeout action included the $400k Guaranteed Sunday Warm Up and the $200k Guaranteed Second Chance. In the Warm Up, 2006 WSOP Bracelet winner Ian Jfinished 4th and JBDenaro157took 7th place. In the Second Chance, tzompucame close to the top prize, taking 3rd place, while gregghmsrand mkind16finished 6th and 9th. AK87 (right) has won big before, finishing 4th in the Sunday Million and taking down the UB $200k. This week he took 1st place in one of the toughest tournaments anywhere, the Stars $200 rebuy, which had a prizepool this week of nearly a quarter million dollars. First prize was $62,250, which tops AK's $57k win in the Million. Other P5ers at the final table were pbdrunks(3rd), mig.com(6th), TonyG_(7th), and JohnnyBax(9th). Congrats to everyone who cashed this weekend! 2. Some of the biggest prizepools of the year were seen during the past week in the FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series), which culminated over the weekend. Several P5ers won events, and they will be recognized in a coming article this week. In the meantime, several other sites still had their weekend majors, including Absolute, where Potroast (pictured) picked up a $45k win. Titantom32, sheets, and Andy McLEODwere also at the final table on Absolute, and for Andy, it wasn't the highest finish of the weekend. He went on to win the Full TiltSunday Mulligan for more than $40k, beating out P5ers currier58, z32fanatic, MrTimCaum, Bry23, and kidzeroat the final table. AcTionJaCsonhad a break through win in the Sunday Million on PokerStars this week. He'd taken down some decent-sized tournaments in the past, having picked up a few five-figure scores, but nothing compared to making a two-way chop in the biggest weekly event in online poker. After winning the heads up match for the $30k he and his opponent left on the table, AcTionJaCson got to see $166k shipped to his account. J.C. "PrtyPsux" Alvarado final tabled a big time event for the second straight week; this time it was the Sunday Million, in which he finished 8th. TonyG_was also at the final table, and he actually finished 3rd for $69k. Remarkable was the fact that he was also playing the final table of the $200 rebuy at the same time, and he finished 7th in that event. That $200 rebuy, as usual, had several big name P5ers at the final table, including the top two finishers. Atimos(pictured), no stranger to first place finishes in huge events, took it down for over $60k. He beat number1penheads up, and scarface_79and Morgothwere the 4th and 5th finishers. As previously mentioned, TonyG_ took 7th, and he was followed by P5ers xxCelticFCxxand Tmay420. Aaron_Hackertook 3rd in the Bodog$100k Guaranteed a couple months ago, and it wasn't long before he was back at the final table. This week, he made it count. Aaron finished first place in the event and won $25k. BigSankawas also at the final table, taking 4th place in the event. Long time online winner Riverloseronce again showed his tournament prowess this week with a second place finish in the PartyPoker$300k Guaranteed on Sunday. He was part of a deal for an undisclosed amount of money--undoubtably a very large five-figure score. Raulsolifinished right behind him in 3rd place, making his second consecutive final table in the event. Other Stars action included a win in the Sunday Warm Up by another long time online winner and a player who was known for a long time as a huge winner on PokerRoom. Thechemist83took down the top prize of just under $80k, besting coxquinn, Mossified, and former Sunday Million winner and current ranked player ch0ppy to get the win. Structuretook first place in the Second Chance for over $54k, and his opponents toward the end included TheMiltMan(3rd) and Randers(4th). TravestyFund, who finished 5th in a WSOP No Limit Hold 'Em event in 2007, nearly won an online major this week, taking 2nd in the $200k Guaranteed on UltimateBet, barely besting third place finisher bikocruz. Rps5000took 6th place, and The-Toilet, a former winner of this event, finished 10th. Finally, on to the FTOPS! Saturday and Sunday, a $2,500 No Limit event was played out by over 600 entrants. In the end, schmeekwas the P5er who came closest to the $396k first prize. He finished 3rd for more than $182k. Stoweskitook 4th place, and Mattman14followed in 5th. Long time P5ers Bateraand soggyvag2were the 8th and 9th place finishers, each cashing for over $30k. The Main Event drew a crowd of more than 4,500 and a prizepool of nearly $2.3M, and three P5ers made the final table! Clayton_27and chardrianwere the 2nd and 3rd place finishers, netting $240k and $155k respectively. Rppkozfinished 7th and went home with over $52k. Congrats to everyone who cashed this weekend! 3. The big story this weekend for pocketfivers was doubleluckywinning yet another big tournament, this time receiving nearly $19k for first place in the Full Tilt $50k guaranteed tournament. He has been on fire, which is a good way to be, leading into the WPT event in Aruba. The biggest winner of the weekend, among noteables, was $175k, which was won by TheTakeoveron PokerStars. He is one of the top players on the internet, and he showed why, picking up this huge win after refusing to chop with his opponents when the tournament narrowed down to three players. slimshaggy(known on P5s as PhatCat) took 8th in this event. JJProdigyand iMsoLucky0both made the final table of the $200k guaranteed on Empire, finishing 7th and 8th respectively. iMsoLucky0did this on the tail end of a big day, that included final tables in the $100 rebuy and $200 Omaha 8/b (which he won) on Stars. TheyCallMeTruesand Nordbergtook 2nd and 3rd in the Bodog $100k guaranteed, showing yet again how pocketfivers have taken over that site and called it their own. And in another final table that featured at least two pocketfivers, Roothlus and Schorkus(JohnnyBax) took 2nd and 5th in the $100k guaranteed on Paradise. Pocketfiver dmk4ytook down the title in the $200k guaranteed on PartyPoker. All in all another good weekend for pocketfivers. As of this posting, the UltimateBet and Empire tournaments were not yet completed, so in the morning, those results will be updated. 4. It was another good weekend for people who like big prizepools, and there were plenty of pocketfivers capitalizing on all the money that was out there for the taking. The big winner of the weekend was brainwash, who took 2nd in the PokerStars $500k guaranteed, which was worth more than $73k after a 3-way chop. This was the 3rd time he has finished in the top 4 of the Sunday tournament on Stars. AawwNutzwon the weekly "Big Deal" on PokerRoom, and as many of our users know, that brings the number of sites on which he has won a tournament to 7. He also picked up nearly $12k for the win. Another big winner for the weekend was iMsoLucky0, who won the $50k guarantee on Empire, FT'd the $20k on Paradise and then won the $50k there the same night, took first in a PartyPoker Million Satellite (which paid $4500 cash, since there weren't enough entries for a WPT package), and got 2nd in a $100 tournament on PartyPoker. By the way, all of these wins were on the same day, Sunday....wow. A couple of ranked players went far in the $200 Sunday tournament on Full Tilt, including Duff McGuire, who finished 3rd. Riverloserjust missed the final table, but still got a nice payout for 11th place. In the $350k guaranteed on Party, several top players cracked the final table, which is unusual for an event with this many entrants. jacksupfinished 3rd in this one, barely outlasting TheBeat, who took down 4th. Also at the final table was jcgoheels, who finished 8th after having a similar finish on UltimateBet the week before. Speaking of UltimateBet, westtexasmantook 3rd place in the $100k guaranteed, and a couple other P5ers made the final table, ThoseNuts and jlourenc. Another nice win on this site was had by muchaka, who picked up an Aruba trip in the Friday night $300 satellite. Paradise also saw a number of pocketfivers do well, particularly debo34(playing as gdebo), who got 2nd place in the $100k guaranteed. jgarza(ActionJeff) just missed the final table in this one. Later in the evening, SamENole, SoBeDude, and BrooDoggall won their WPT Legends seat there. Also this weekend, Mr. Lobowon his second WPT Legends seat. On PokerStars in the $109 rebuy, C.K.(ckruel) just missed the final table, finishing 10th, while sheetsand P0ker D0h(P0ker H0) ended up in 5th and 6th respectively. 5. With the WSOP fully in swing, almost every major Sunday tournament had an overlay this week. It was not so unusual to see Bodog give away $38.5k in their $100k guaranteed. However, we were pleased to see that PokerStars gave away nearly $20k this week and UltimateBet gave away about $8k. Strangely enough, Full Tilt, which had yet to meet their $50k guarantee for the "Piece of the Pro" tournament, made it to a prize pool of over $60k this week, which was their highest by a large margin for this tournament. Speaking of the Piece of the Pro (Phil Ivey this week), pocketfivers DedHeadSteveand katdragon both came very close to having a percentage of Phil Ivey's winnings in the main event. They finished 10th and 11th respectively, while the top 9 got a piece. On UltimateBet this week, gator93and cunninghamboth busted at the 2nd to last table of the $120k guaranteed, narrowly missing a big payday. The same fate was waiting for another pocketfiver, G S X R, on Bodog, where he finished 16th overall in the $100k guaranteed. One site where pocketfivers did get through to the final table was Paradise. In the $100k guaranteed, Wachoviagot 4th place, Zmatictook home 5th, and SamENolefinished 8th overall. 6. Easter Sunday narrowed the fields a bit this week in the Sunday majors, but it didn't stop P5ers from the normal Sunday dominance. The most obvious display was in the $200 rebuy on PokerStars, where members of this community took the top four spots. The winner was flip123077(pictured), and he took home a prize of over $41k. The next three finishers were mortens22, Deuce2High, and TheNew. Two P5ers had particularly notable Sundays this week in which they finished in the top five of two different major events, each winning approximately $70k. One of them was IBluffUOut4, who made deep in the two biggest events of the day--the Sunday Million and the Full Tilt $400k. The other was Stiches, who took down the 2nd Chance $200 on Stars and finished fourth in that same Full Tilt $400k. Other high finishers on Full Tilt included kutuz_off who finished second for over $45k, and Big Swing, who took 5th. ChipSteelaand mcmarkrazztook 7th and 8th place respectively. One other P5er was at the final table of the Sunday Million as well, and that was toetagu, who finished 8th. Steely (left) took second place in the 2nd chance $200 this week, taking home more than $25k for the win. He and Stiches, mentioned earlier for the win, outlasted an extremely tough final table that included ranked players phatcat, muchaka, and Scott "emptyseat88" Fischman. Dlperriohad yet another great win this week, this time taking down the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed for $45k. Blur5f6, known for his big win in one of the UBOC events last year, took 3rd in the event, and several other P5ers were also at the final table. Classyploppytook 5th place, ansky451finished 6th, P0ker H0took 9th, and skrueended up in 10th. Baby5050 won the Sunday Warm Up, which had a small overlay this week, and davidk2345finished 6th in the tournament. Finally, in the Bodog $100k, Quads420, RollinFish, and gator93were all at the final table. They finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th respectively. Congrats to all P5ers who cashed this weekend. 7. The Full Tilt $500k Guaranteed final table had two P5ers in the top three this week, each of whom was no stranger to winning a major online event. JCarver, whose past wins include the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed and the PokerStars $100 rebuy, took the whole thing down for a huge score of just over $107k. Former Sunday Million winner Isaac "mr. menlo" Baron (pictured) took 3rd for over $42k, and P5ers I_Hate_To_Loseand MavFishwere also at the final table. P5er The9deucewas another to pick up a victory in a major event this week. His win was in the Bodog $100k Guaranteed, which still has a weekly five-figure overlay. JPipswas at the final table as well, where he finished 3rd for $9k. HighRoller48 (pictured) doesn't play a lot of online tournaments these days, but when he does, he still seems to pick up a lot of big cashes. This week, he reached the final table of the Sunday Warm Up on Stars, which now guarantees $400k every week! Games153was the highest finishing P5er in the event, taking 2nd. HR48 took 5th, badpab2finished 6th, and Will TheDreamerMa ended up in 9th. Fcmunkywasn't messing around in the Sunday Million, which is still the biggest prizepool in online poker most weeks. Generally a lower buy-in player, this week he finished 2nd in the big one for nearly $100k. Rkruokwas the other P5er at the final table, finishing 7th for over $21k. On UB this weeek, NeddyFlanders, phatcat, and JJDangertook 7th, 8th, and 10th places respectively in the $200k Guaranteed. Similarly, in the Stars 2nd Chance $200, no P5er broke through for the win, but several were at the final table. BerkeleyBosscame in the highest of the group, taking 4th place, GB2005ended up in 5th, and ForRealDDtook 7th. For the first time this week, we're including the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan in this write up, and this is a direct result of its new $100k Guarantee every week! Thugmoneymkralmost took it down, ending up in the runner up spot. CrazyMarco(right) took 5th place, and toddosuand linkocracywere the next two finishers after him. The Stars $200 rebuy was the last big event to end on Sunday night, and three of the top four finishers were PocketFives members. Seaanchortook the whole thing down for over $54k, and PSBand IgorFederaltook 3rd and 4th place respectively. Another top player, BKiCe, finished 6th, and frosteyand YourTimeIsUptook the 7th and 8th spots overall. A few other medium-sized cashes for P5ers this week included djk123's 5th place in the Absolute $150k Guaranteed, and the 6th and 10th place finishes by Claretand rdcrsnin the $300k Guaranteed on PartyPoker. 8. P5ers dominated the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed on Sunday, which was a relief after seeing us get shut out of many of the majors this week. This tournament is still a huge value for the players, sporting an overlay of more than $27k this week. Gobboboytook down the tournament, winning $45k even for his finish. MiracleGro(pictured)was the 3rd place finisher, kwob20took 5th, basebaldycame in 8th, WarrickDunn28took 9th, and Riverloserfinished 10th overall. Jmikekennedyhad a big score this weekend as well, taking 5th in the Million Guaranteed on PokerStars. That was worth a nice chunk of change as well--$37k. LUHMANalso took 8th in the Full Tilt $250k Guaranteed, which appears to be growing at a higher rate than ever! 9. It's official: internet poker is still on the rise following the 2005 WSOP. The prize pools in the big weekend tournaments showed an overwhelming amount of growth this week, with PokerStars getting $686k in the pot for their $200 tournament and PartyPoker getting $816,900 in their $350 buy in event. Paradise and UltimateBet also both showed some growth, hitting $124,500 and $132,800 respectively, and even Bodog came much closer than ever to hitting their guarantee, only having to fork up $24k to fill out their $100k prize pool. The player of the week had to be colson10, who won a WPT seat on Paradise while fighting through the final few tables of the $100k guaranteed on UltimateBet. After securing the seat, he went on to take first on UB as well, which gave him an extra $31k in spending money for his trip. In addition to colson10, that tournament on UB had a fine showing of pocketfivers at the final table, including jgarza(2nd), SHERBANG(5th), one o clock(6th), jcgoheels(7th), and River-King(10th). 11. Happy holidays to all P5ers! Sunday was Christmas Day and the first night of Chanukah, and because so many people were away, there were some big overlays in the weekend tournaments. It started on Saturday night with the PartyPoker $200k guaranteed, which had an overlay of more than $20k. Other tournaments that had overlays were the PartyPoker $750k guaranteed (almost $90k), Bodog $100k guaranteed ($44k), Full Tilt $60k guaranteed ($11k), Paradise $100k guaranteed ($10k), PokerRoom $80k guaranteed ($24k), and the UltimateBet $150k guaranteed ($26k). PokerStars added $100k to their $500 tournament, which was quite an overlay in itself. Worthy of mention for the 4th week in a row is papoorboy, who "only" finished 12th this week in the $150k guaranteed on UltimateBet. It had been a month since the last time he was not at the final table of this tournament, including two weeks in which he won the event. Congrats to him on a truly fantastic accomplishment. P5er Ira3801won the top prize in the $200k guaranteed on PartyPoker, which was $44k! Some other noteables to do well in the big PartyPoker tourneys were loewa79, who got 14th in the $750k guaranteed on Sunday, and anakinso, who finished 10th in the $200k guaranteed on Saturday night. AawwNutzjust missed the win on Paradise, taking 2nd for nearly $14k. 12. The big winner of the weekend, among P5ers, was a name we're used to seeing at the top of big tournaments. Foshiotook 2nd in the Paradise $500k guaranteed, which paid him more than $64k! He showed why he's been getting so much mention, taking 3rd in the $200k guaranteed on Full Tilt. MarvinGardenhad the same finish in the Weekly Big Deal on PokerRoom, which has a guarantee of $80k, which is usually paid in part by the house, due to an overlay. 14. As usual, there were a number of huge scores made by P5ers this past weekend, but nobody could outshine bbbbb33, who took down the $1M guaranteed on PokerStars, the biggest weekly tourney on the net! There was a 5-way deal made before the players played it out for a $20k additional first prize, and he ended up with $79k for his finish. Congrats! Another P5er and top player won the Full Tilt $200k guaranteed, and that was MrSmokey1. First prize in that one was $45k. And yet another first place finish went to Ozzy 87. He took down the UltimateBet $125k guaranteed, which had $25k added to the prizepool. In a rare occurance, the tournament met it's guarantee exactly, without being over or under. AawwNutztook second in this one, so congrats to both on finishing at the top! PearlJammertook 2nd in the Paradise $150k guaranteed, which had a significant overlay this week. 4ofaKindBudtook 3rd in the event. Other P5ers to make final tables this weekend included MiracleGr0, who took 3rdin the PartyPoker Friday Special, basebaldy, who took 9th in the $500k on the same site, Nordberg, who took 6th in the Weekly Big Deal on PokerRoom, and Round42and jmou225, who took 2nd and 4th respectively in the $100k guaranteed on Bodog, which STILL HAS A SIGNIFICANT OVERLAY EVERY WEEK! 15. It was another weekend of impressive performances by some we've been impressed with before, as well as some new faces. On UltimateBet, we saw a player nearly win his third major $200 Sunday tourney, coming up just short at 2nd place. For Anakinso, a college senior who has already won the big PokerStars tourney twice, a prize of $23k was a nice consolation for narrowly missing the trifecta. Jerrod, who has already recently won the $120k Guaranteed on UltimateBet, also had a great weekend, winning the Paradise $100k Guaranteed and placing second in a $100 Stud tournament on PokerStars. He made noise in some of the other tournaments as well, but these were the most noteable of the weekend. TheRealBeat (TheBeat) was the highest ranked finisher (41st) in the 1/4 Million Guaranteed on PartyPoker, and on PokerStars in the $350k guaranteed, DJBigSlick (DJDaveCee) carried the torch, finishing 20th. Shaniacwon the $100 rebuy on PokerStars, raking in more than $18k! Outside of the impressive performance by jerrod, there were several ranked players who finished high up in the big Paradise tourney, and those were DJDaveCee (7th), BamaEd(17th), KRISTEN(22nd), and Spencerman(34th). 17. This week's PocketFives.com Online Tournament Player Rankings update features Daniel "djk123" Kelly (right), who moved up three spots to #9 after having multiple scores over $30k in the month of January. Daniel also won the Full Tilt $40k Guaranteed tournament on March 2nd for $26,500, continuing an amazing run that has propelled him into the Top 10. Also moving up in the Top 10 this week was Russell "rdcrsn" Carson, who has had one of the most spectacular runs in online tournaments since PocketFives.com began tracking results in 2005. Currently ranked #4 in the world according to the P5's Rankings, Russell's recent final tables include a win in the Full Tilt $25k Guaranteed and a final table in the PartyPoker $30k High-Roller tournament. Coming off of a very impressive Sunday, PocketFiver Marco "CrazyMarco" Johnson (left) moved all the way up to #18 after final-tabling Sunday majors on both UltimateBet and Full Tilt for a combined $69,400. He's followed by "ElMastermind" and "phatcat," who both made huge leaps into the Top 20 this week. "ElMastermind" won the PokerStars Nightly Hundred Grand and $25k Guaranteed tournaments on back-to-back evenings, netting him a total of $41k, as Shawn "phatcat" Luman his February results that earned him well over $100,000 in cash prizes. Brian "SN8WMAN" Hawkins has not relented after his huge score in the PokerStars Sunday Million in January, and is currently ranked #25 in the world at online tournament play. Jon "sketchy1" Eaton is now ranked #28 following his victory in the PokerStars $25k Guaranteed in late February, as "RandALLin"moved up to the #29 spot. "GhettoFabolous" is up seven spots to #32 this week, and Johan "busto_soon" Til (right) moved up nine to #33 after final-tabling both the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up and the PartyPoker $30k High Roller tournaments for a combined $40,500 this past Sunday. Johan currently enjoys a comfortable lead over the competition in the Sliding PLB for The Netherlands. Josh "pbdrunks" Van Duyn moved up 13 spots to #37 this week, and WSOP Europe Main Event Champion Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad (left) also moved up 13 to #38 after outlasting a field of 20,000 players to take down the PokerStars Sunday Hundred Grand for $20k. Annette retains her first place online tournament ranking in the country of Norway, although some tough competition has surged recently. PocketFiver "USCphildo" continued his rise up the rankings this week and finished at #40, as "JayPez" moved into the #44 spot. Streaking player Christian "charder" Harder of Maryland is now ranked #45 in the world, thanks in part to his final table performance in the PokerStars $215 rebuy tournament in late February. David "Bakes" Baker finishes the week at #47 after final-tabling the PokerStars $100 rebuy for a score of $20k in late February. One of the big stories in the last two weeks here on PocketFives.com has been the rise of Brent "bhanks11" Hanks (right), who storms into the Top 50 this week at #48. Brent is coming off an extremely successful month of February, where he won the PokerStars Sunday Million for $278,000! He also has wins in the PokerStars $55k Guaranteed and Nightly Hundred Grand tournaments so far this year, as well as a victory in the Stars $25k Guaranteed. Predictably, Brent is also this week's featured weekly TLB Winner on PokerStars. PocketFiver "PURPLEPILLS99" is up ten spots to #56 this week, and "ATM4Life" moves into the #63 rankings. Paul "ComeOnPhish" Lieu (left) is back in the rankings once again at #66, coming off yet another impressive stretch where he won a PokerStars $109 freezeout for $32k and the Full Tilt $55k Guaranteed for another $16,600. Paul has reached ten final tables so far in 2008, and looked primed to go on another of his amazing winning streaks. Scott "BigRiskky" Clements still owns the bragging rights of being the only PocketFiver who is a two-time WSOP Bracelet winner and two-time WPT Champion. He's already reached two online final tables in the month of March and is currently ranked #67. He could continue to move up in the rankings if he continues to put up consistent results. Mark "TheOmaholic" Roland is up 16 spots to #71 this week, enjoying the benefits of his February results. Mark won the Full Tilt $1k Monday last month for $78,000, and followed that up with a 2nd Place showing in the $65k Guaranteed. David "Hickboy" Hickman (right) enters the rankings this week at #90, coming off his victory in the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed for $142,000 this past Sunday. David also won the Full Tilt $55k Guaranteed last month and had a final table in the $1k Monday back in January. Also entering the rankings this week are professional poker player "JOEYTHEB" and "johne147," who won the PokerStars $100 rebuy this past Monday for nearly $22k. "Johne147" is currently ranked among the Top 5 online tournament players in the United Kingdom. Be sure to check back next week for all the updates and action in the PocketFives.com Online Tournament Player Rankings.
  18. Chris Kline, known in the online poker world as Cmoney3, started moving towards elite status in August of last year when he won the Full Tilt Monday $1k event. He's since become a fixture in the top 100, and this Sunday was another example of his strong play. He defeated 1,062 opponents en route to a $46,772 win for first prize in the UltimateBet $200k Guaranteed. Among those at the final table of the aforementioned tournament were seven other P5ers. Under_the_radarwas the second place finisher, and ndrudy, who also had a 5th place finish on Full Tilt, took 4th. 6th-10th prizes were awarded to Lungfish, andale34, rent boy, fu_15, and quassi. In the Sunday Mulligan, we got to see another P5er get a win. Dahjinerat was the top finisher, taking home nearly $38k. Koolkeith13took 4th, and as we mentioned before, ndrudy46took 5th place. Govshark2and cdbr3799were the other two P5ers at the final table. Mkind16(left) is a well-known poster on the forums and already has quite a bit of experience at big final tables. This weekend he got to the biggest final table--the Sunday Million on PokerStars. He didn't quite get the top spot, but his fifth place finish was more than enough to warrant a feature in this week's tournament report. It also netted him over $42k. It was mentioned earlier that fu_15final tabled the UB $200k Guaranteed. He also nearly final tabled the Sunday Million, taking 14th. They weren't able to stop him in the $200 rebuy, though, and he ended up taking 3rd place for $19k, barely being edged by 2nd place finisher JayPez. Long time P5s Contributing Writer steelytook 5th in the event for $10k, and charderfinished 8th. One P5s member made a six-figure score this week, and while we don't have a picture to feature in this report, we can certainly tell you who it was. Spinvistook down the Sunday Warm Up on Stars for $103k, edging out P5ers Chosen Wun, mully_85, and shaniacat the final table. Plattsburgh (right) had himself another nice Sunday cash this week, taking 2nd in the Sunday Second Chance for about $27k. Top 10 ranked ch0ppytook 4th place in this one, with TheHero, two8off, Kongsgaard, and P5s mod Anbessafilling the next four spots. Long time winner looshlenearly picked up the win in this week's Bodog$100k Guaranteed, finishing 2nd for $14k. The third place finisher, elway7j, was also a P5er. On PartyPokerin the $300k Guaranteed, jaktook 8th place. Full Tilt's $750k Guaranteed played until late in the night, and P5er BrokenTPotfinally surrendered in 2nd place. Frustrating as 2nd often is, he has $89k to console him after the near win. Well-known P5s contributor, moderator, and top 10 ranked player apestylestook 5th place, which was worth about $34k. Congrats to everyone who cashed this week. 19. Sunday was a big day for a number of P5ers in the major online events, and rdcrsnhad one of the biggest days of anyone. Full Tilthad a $1 Million Guaranteed as its main event this week, which paid out a whopping $206k to first place. The highly ranked rdcrsn(pictured)nearly received that prize, bowing out in 3rd for a still very impressive $83k. Johnboibrodigytook fifth for $50k, and JBT449had to be happy with his finish as well, taking 6th for $36k. Rdcrsn also had another score Sunday that would be considered enormous to most internet poker players by itself. That score was a 2nd place finish for $26.5k in the PokerStarsSunday Second Chance, which had a prizepool just south of a quarter million. His heads up opponent was P5er Quads420, who was able to bring in the $52.8k first prize. Also at this final table were Michaelpzpz(5th), thugmoneymkr, and BamaEd. Taking it from the top... On Bodogthis week in the $100k Guaranteed, three P5ers finished in succession, starting with Legato, who bowed out in 6th place for $4,500. The next to leave the table was kornkid, who took home 5.5k. Finally FrankDaTancwas forced to exit as well, and he received $6,900 for 4th. Another one of the bigger beneficiaries of this week's Sunday events was Jordan scarface_79Smith (left), who won the top prize of over $40k in the Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt. Smith had to beat a tough final table to get there, including former top ranked player P0KERPR033, who finished fourth. Other P5ers at the final table included ilushan(3rd), 1bigacehole(5th), B4TheFlop(8th), and ComptonMasta(9th). Sticking with the Full Tilt theme, we're introducing a new event to this week's Sunday Tournament Review, since it's been getting quite a turnout lately and is consistently worthy of mention. The Sunday Brawl bounty event had a prizepool of over $300k, and the top prize of $65k was received by 4ofakindbud. Mr. menlotook 3rd for over $31k as part of a big weekend (discussed below). Other P5ers at the final table were dcookieand blanconegro, who finished 4th and 5th respectively. ElMastermind was able to take down the $200 rebuy on Stars, defeating the top player in the PocketFives.com Pro Poll heads up. That highly ranked player is of course mr. menlo(right), who finds his way to the top of one of these events almost every weekend, so it seems. Ebiggs, kwob20, mattg1983, badbeatninja, and shaniacwere also present in the final group, each cashing significantly as well. P5s Moderator Anbessahad one of the other huge scores this weekend, winning just under $53k for second in the Sunday Warm Up. Jonasof87took fourth this time, and brehmerwas right behind in 5th. ElMasterMindwas at this final table as well, though he only finished 8th in this one, and DANAfinished 9th. The UltimateBet$200k Guaranteed continued to get over 1,000 entrants, which it's been doing regularly lately, and naturally it was won by another P5er this week. MisterSilvertook the top prize of nearly $45k, beating Harrisand dignanin the final four. RandALLin has won this event before, and this week he nearly did again, taking 6th. P5er Jay_Fiedlerfinished 9th. 20. Cal Spears - President Cal Spears is a Madisonville, KY native who graduated from Vanderbilt University in the fall of 2003. After graduation he took a job as Internal Marketing Manager for Rivals.com, a major network of college sports community websites. It was there that Spears learned the intracacies and nuances of running a successful online community/content site. Being an avid poker player with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Spears soon decided to apply his knowledge to the online poker world. He noticed that successful online tournament players were beginning to stand out and realized that a site devoted specifically to online poker players would be very popular. He got together with the right people and in January, 2005, PocketFives.com was born. At PocketFives.com Spears is in charge of strategical direction, running day-to-day business, and negotiations with poker sites. Spears has also run a Bar Trivia business since his Senior year of college. He aspires to continue to create and grow new businesses and pursue an MBA when the timing is right. In his free time he enjoys golfing, fishing, and watching as much football as he can. He intends to someday own a horse that runs in the Kentucky Derby. Adam Small - Chief Editor A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Adam Small is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He majored in Computer Science and Math, graduating in 2003. In late 2004, Small teamed with fellow Vanderbilt graduates Cal Spears and Riley Bryant to launch PocketFives.com. The site officially launched in January, 2005, and he has enjoyed working as its Chief Editor since. Adam is extremely active in the online poker community and played in the 2004 ub.com Aruba Classic, a major live poker event. Small writes the "PocketFives.com Online Report" monthly in Bluff Magazine and has written two other articles for the magazine, a piece focusing on a leader board race among top tournament players for hundreds of thousands of dollars as well as a piece about underage gambling. On PocketFives.com, Small acquires and organizes all site content as well as co-hosting a weekly Podcast. He is also the primary administrator of the PocketFives.com Tournament Player Rankings. One day, Small wants to buy the summer camp he attended as a child and run it. He would like to see the traditions and memories of camp brought back after it was closed in 2002. In the meantime, he will continue to help run PocketFives.com, pushing it every day towards further success. Riley Bryant - Technical Director Riley Bryant grew up in Nashville, TN. He was valedictorian of his high school class at Hillwood High and graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2001 with a triple major in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Classical Languages. After graduating, while working as a contractor for Legalbill.com to design the company's internal auditing software, Riley returned to Hillwood to teach Latin for half the day at his high school alma mater. Riley went on to become the Senior Programmer at Legalbill.com, and he continued working for the company until early 2006. In late 2004, Riley began the initial designs for PocketFives.com with Cal Spears, and when the website was deployed in January 2005, he became the company's co-owner and CTO. Riley's contributions to PocketFives.com include the design and implementation of the website's forum software, content management system, player database, and automated rankings. In addition, he serves as administrator for the company's database and as producer for the PocketFives.com Podcast. In his spare time, Riley enjoys the arts and has acted in several community productions including shows produced by Circle Players and ACT I, and was honored by The Tennessean with a Best Supporting Actor award for his performance as Marc Anotony in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Riley aspires to reach a level of success such that he can one day become a benefactor of the arts and--when the economic means allow it--return to teaching. Dan Cypra - Marketing Director Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dan Cypra came to Nashville in 1999 to pursue a degree at Vanderbilt University. The Economics major completed his Bachelor of Science in 2002 as part of a joint degree program and then attended the Owen Graduate School of Management, where he received his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Human and Organizational Performance in 2003. He worked at Nashville Shores, a family park located just outside the city limits as the Group Sales and Special Events Coordinator. While there, Cypra hired and supervised park staff in addition to coordinating the efforts of multiple departments. Cypra joined PocketFives.com in May, 2006. Cypra is charged with directing the media relations and marketing arms of PocketFives.com. His weekly press campaigns and media efforts have helped grow site traffic since he joined. Several new advertisers and sponsors have joined the PocketFives.com family as a direct result of his efforts. He is a frequent contributor to the Podcast and also serves as the primary legislative and lobby group liaison. An avid golfer and sports fan, Cypra continues to work in the Sports Information department at Vanderbilt University, a position he has held since 1999. He hopes to further his exposure and involvement in this field. Lenny Sharlet - Head Moderator Lenny Sharlet is a Tennessee native and resident of Nashville for the past 16 years. He went to Swarthmore College, where he was pursuing a degree in History with minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies. He took some time off in 2000, and his natural wanderlust and tendency towards non-traditional education led him down a different path. He has been a massage therapist, bartender (or mixologist), landscape architect, and park ranger, just to name a few of his adventures over the past few years. Lenny has always enjoyed games of strategy, and he discovered online poker in the Fall of 2004. After spending most of 2005 playing online, he was very happy to join Pocketfives.com as the first employee of a fast-growing company. The flexibility of working from home, paired with the intellectual challenges and opportunities for creativity of working and writing for an online media company, has been a perfect fit. He looks forward to contributing to the further growth of PocketFives.com by providing top-notch customer service and interesting and innovative content.

To calculate your own scores, you may use our PLB Calculator. Why did my recent scores disappear from my profile, or why aren't they there at all? There may be several reasons why your recent scores are not displayed in your profile: - If you change, add, or remove poker site names in your profile, your scores are temporarily removed to account for the changes you have made. Your scores will reappear in your profile and recent scores pages when the next results sweep occurs (typically several times a day), so if you changed your profile and see your scores have disappeared, relax, they will appear later in the day! - If your screen names on various sites have not been entered, were entered incorrectly, or have not been verified (no gray check mark beside the name), your scores can not be attached to your PocketFives profile. If there is a mistake with one of your site names (or if it hasn't yet been entered), simply update your profile to correct any mistakes, and your scores will appear the following day. If your names are unverified, please contact rankings@fivesmail.com. - Some poker sites are not tracked by PocketFives.com, and some tournaments on those sites are also not tracked. For a full listing of tracking requirements, please see Why is a specific tournament not listed as a result in my profile? below. Why is a specific tournament not listed as a result in my profile? There may be several possible reasons why a result would not be listed in your profile: - The tournament had fewer than 100 entrants. - The tournament had a prizepool less than $1,000. - The tournament had a buy-in of less than $1. - The tournament occurred less than five (5) days ago. It takes up to five days after a tournament completes for it to be displayed on PocketFives.com. - The tournament was not a scheduled tournament. 180-man SNGs on Stars, for instance, are not tracked. The only exception is 180-man SNGs on Full Tilt, which are included in our feed. - The tournament was a satellite tournament or a freeroll. Only non-satellite tournaments with a real money buy-in are tracked by PocketFives.com. - The tournament occurred more than one year ago. Though the tournament may have been tracked, for server efficiency, we only list a year's worth of results on recent scores pages. Which sites are being tracked for PocketFives.com rankings? We are currently only tracking the following sites for the rankings. We will be adding more sites in the near future. Tournaments from the following sites that also satisfy the above criteria will be included in the leaderboard: - Absolute Poker (started tracking on 6/1/2007) - Bodog (started tracking on 7/12/2006) - Full Tilt (started tracking on 7/12/2006) - PartyPoker (started tracking on 7/12/2006) - PokerStars (started tracking on 7/12/2006) - UltimateBet (started tracking on 7/12/2006) - PokerRoom *Ongame Network (started tracking on 12/10/2007) - TitanPoker * iPoker Network (started tracking on 06/16/2008) - Doyle's Room * Cake Poker Network (started tracking on 06/15/2008, stopped tracking on 01/24/2009) We were tracking the Microgaming which is what Doyles Room was on. DoylesRoom has since moved to the Cake Network which we are currently not tracking. We are in the process of working directly with the Cake Network to start tracking those scores once again in the near future. I have a score that meets the criteria, how do I get that entered and when will it appear? If your result meets all of the above criteria and is still not listed or you are not sure if it does, please email your username and the missing tournament information (include the site on which it occurred, date, buyin, and place) to rankings@fivesmail.com, and we will attempt to resolve the problem. If the score was in fact missing, we will manually enter the score as soon as possible and send you an email response. This score will then appear in your profile the following day, our parsers run at 2 PM and 2 AM CT daily, and will be bound to your profile at 3 AM CT or at the next rankings update, whichever occurs first. How often are my recent scores updated? Scores shown in your profile are updated once a day in the middle of the night (typically around 3 AM U.S. Central Time). Each tournament score, however, is imported after a varying length of time for every site. Please wait up to 5 days for each room to see if your recent scores have been updated. The fact that your PokerStars scores from yesterday are listed does not mean that your UB or AP scores from the same day should be listed as well. If I just created an account, what tournaments will appear? Do you go back and find past scores? When your results are added to your profile after creating an account or after editing the screen names in your profile, all tournaments we have tracked in the last year will be included. Will my old scores count if I change site names in my profile or will I lose results? Can I use two names for one site? We do not allow our users to have results from two different names from the same site or network. Scores will only count from one screen name per site, per player. You should choose whichever site name you want to count going forward. If you'd like to change the site name in your profile, you can do that, but only scores from whichever name you currently have listed will count for your PLB total. If you are forced to change names on a site for whatever reason, one thing that may give you comfort in losing your old scores is that old point values drop off over time based on how our Sliding PLB works. Why aren't my multi-table SNG results listed? We do not currently have the ability to track multi-table SNG's and the like, so we only track scheduled tournaments. The only exception is for 180-man sit-n-go's on Full Tilt, which are included in the feed we receive. Are satellite tournaments tracked? No. Satellite wins do not count for the player rankings. Why can't I find my location in the country/region/city dropdown lists? You must enter your full location in your profile in order to be included in our rankings by country, state/region, and city. Many of the smaller cities and towns, however, are not listed in our system. If you fall into this category, we generally recommend that you name the nearest city to you that is listed. What are the Sortable Rankings and how are they calculated? The Sortable Rankings are rankings by location, age group, and other factors, and they are calculated using the Sliding PLB. Sortable rankings simply filter the sliding leaderboard to include only members of a certain state, country, city, age group, or other criteria. You can also create sortable lists for Monthly and Yearly PLBs. There is also a console on the front page where you can choose what country or region for which you'd like to see rankings when you come to the site. The console defaults to showing rankings from your own country or state (based on the location listed in your profile or IP address), but you can change this setting based on your own personal preferences by going to our Sortable Rankings Page. What determines the PocketFives.com World Wide Rankings? The PocketFives.com World Wide Rankings are an attempt to accurately rank online tournament players. Every Wednesday afternoon, rankings are updated automatically. The Rankings are based on three factors, each of which has equal weight: 1) Recent Results - PocketFives.com tracks tournament results for members who have listed the appropriate screen names in their profiles. These results are used to compile a Sliding PocketFives.com Leaderboard (PLB), the specifics of which (how points are accumulated and how they gradually drop off) are answered by How does the sliding leaderboard work?. The rankings use collected results from the latest 12-month period, ending with the most recent Sunday. This means, for instance, that when the rankings are compiled on Wednesday 7/18/2007, the most recent results included are from the previous Sunday, 7/15/2007. The oldest results included are from 7/16/2006. 2) Opinions of their Peers - The PocketFives.com World Wide Rankings also uses a subjective portion in its formula. The purpose of this subjective portion is to reward long-term winning potential as defined by the best in the industry and to exalt players who have exhibited long term success. In addition to pure numbers, we believe that a good rankings system must reward aspects of the game that go unseen in the charts, and with numerous internet players voting in our Pro Poll, all of whom have extensive experience playing in the biggest online tournaments, we end up with a successful showing of which top internet players are most respected by their peers. The pollers have the opportunity to rank the top internet players as they see fit, under the condition that the players they rank must all have achieved a top-200 score in the current sliding PLB. Pollers also have the option to rank as many or as few of those top 200 as they please. Any players that a poller does not rank will be relegated to their corresponding sliding PLB order, such that each poll has 200 ranked players even if the poller in question chose to rank a smaller number. The pro pollers have criteria on which to rank players, and those criteria state that this is not simply a ranking based on "skill." Instead, an individual pro poller's rankings should model a longer-term version of the sliding PLB. That is to say that the pro poll reflects top players' views on which players have been the most successful in the past and also which players are most likely to continue that success. Pro Pollers who don't update their rankings for a month straight forfeit their poll count until further updates occur. This rule encourages pro poll participation and keeps collective pro poll averages from remaining overly stale. 3) Previous Ranking - In order to prevent players from sliding up and down the rankings too fast based on a hot or cold streak, the final portion of the World Wide Rankings is based on the player's ranking the previous week. If a player wasn't ranked the previous week, their previous ranking is 101 for the purpose of this system (in accordance with the 100 players that are ranked on a weekly basis). All unranked players therefore have an equal chance of entering the rankings on any given week. Who votes in the Pro Poll? A large number of successful online tournament players vote in the pro poll. We strongly encourage you to let us know at rankings@fivesmail.com if you believe you or someone you know should be voting in this poll. We receive numerous requests from individuals that are interested in participating, and we take steps to ensure that each person receives apt consideration. PocketFives.com holds sole discretion over which individuals are allowed to vote in this poll. If my account on a certain site (i.e. Full Tilt) becomes inaccessible at some point or has been compromised, can I acquire points using another name on that site? Typically, the answer is no, but there are exceptions. If you've been the victim of a hacking incident and are forced to play on a different account for a short time, you may let us know ahead of time via email (rankings@fivesmail.com), and we can manually add cashes from that time into your rankings profile. We will need to know specifically what the cause of the issue is, as well as how long you will be playing on a different name. Except in extreme situations, we will not allow scores from multiple names on the same site to count for the rankings. Why is my PLB score for a specific tournament off by a fraction of a point or does not add up to what I see in my recent scores page? If you have a recent win posted in your account, sometimes it will take a day or so for your overall PLB points to update and include the recent win(s). Sometimes, cashes in a tournament will be listed in whole dollar amounts, omitting the cents that were paid out by the site on which the tournament was played. This rounding may result in a small difference between the score you calculate in our PLB calculator and the score you receive in the recent scores section of your profile, but will never affect any score by more than half a point of what you'll determine in our PLB Calculator. Why is the PLB score in my profile different than the one on the rankings and PLB standings pages? When the rankings and PLB standings pages are updated, they grab information up through the previous Sunday (in the case of the rankings) and up through the previous two days (in the case of the monthly, yearly, and sliding PLBs). Scores in your profile and scores on your recent scores page are updated nearly twice a day every day. As such, since leaderboard pages are not updated on the same schedule as profile pages, there is sometimes a discrepancy between the two, particularly if someone has had scores in the last few days that qualify for the PLB.
  22. Thanksgiving weekend was a good one for P5ers in the Sunday Majors, as four different major events were won by members of the site. The biggest event on Full Tilt, the $750k Guaranteed, was won by a PocketFiver. IWEARGOGGLES (pictured) took home the $142k awarded to first place, defeating MotherBuckerand adantharafter it got down to the final three. Also at the final table was boltsva, who took 5th place. Makavelycesended up with all the chips in the PokerStars$200 Rebuy. He had to beat a very tough opponent heads up--DavidP18has very rarely finished second in any online event. Long time online star Roothlusfinished 4th, and Clayton_27, Imper1um, and cdbr3799were 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively. The Sunday Million didn't see a P5er at the top of the payout chart, but Tommy2tymestill cashed bigger than just about anyone on Sunday. He took 2nd place and more than $125k. In the Sunday Warm Up on the same site, jc_bluejwas the biggest winner, receiving over $93k for first place. Another P5er at the final table was skipoker, who took 8th for almost $7k. Another one of the winners was The-Toilet, a winner of several major online events in the last year. This week he took down the Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt, edging out fellow P5er Gotskillz(left) for the $37k first prize. Spots 6-9 at the final table were occupied by P5s members blanconegro, traheho, Jay_Fiedler, and chinook. Back on Stars, the Sunday Second Chance saw four P5ers at the final table. Fishbones11was the highest finisher, taking 4th place, and ElMastermindtook 6th. Lnettlesand castellimichfinished 8th and 9th at the final table. In the UltimateBet$200k Guaranteed, aconsumahad a five-figure score for 4th place, as did goleafsgoeh, who finished 5th. Also at the final table were fergwrx, Rusty_Nail, and mkind16. On Bodogthis week in the $100k Guaranteed, we weren't lucky enough to see a P5er win, but the next three positions were all familiar names. Ktyvenwas the runner up, and Thayer "THAY3R" Rasmussen (right) finished 3rd. P5er manderbuttwas the fourth place finisher in the event, which had an overlay of just under $17k. Congrats to everyone who cashed this week. 23. Fields were enormous this week in the Sunday majors, particularly on Full Tilt and PokerStars. The Omaholic(right) was the primary benefactor of the blow up on Full Tilt, taking down the $400k Guaranteed, which actually drew a prizepool north of $500k. Five P5ers were at the final table, which ended in The Omaholic beating DSnyder766heads up for a first prize of more than $94k. kidzero, MavFish, and JCarverwere also at the final table. The other monstrous field was the Sunday Million on PokerStars, which had more than 7,000 entrants this week for the first time ever. AK87(left), in front of many friends and several top 10 players on PocketFives.com, was a big winner, taking over $57k for 4th place. Fellow P5er Fisheye25took 7th in the event. Also on Stars, the Sunday Warm Up had a guarantee for the first time, and it was for $250k. P5ers took this one off for the most part this week, but ira3801still got to the final table, taking 7th place. The other Sunday $200 freezeout (the 2nd chance) still had a lot of P5ers, though, including 3rd, 4th, and 5th place finishers AaronBeen, Ian J, and SirDonksALot. Two other well-known players took 7th and 8th: The-Toiletand ComeOnPhish. In the big Sunday rebuys, Imper1um(right) managed to make both final tables. He took 7th in the $200 rebuy and 6th in the big $100 rebuy. Sagatwas also at that $200 rebuy final table, taking 4th, and several other P5ers were at the final of the $100R. Zpaceman, playing from the lobby at Atlantis Resort, took it down for more than $31k, beating highly ranked player P0KERPR033 heads up. Foshiotook 4th in the tourney, and thenut21pokertook 7th. Earlier in the day, BudmansComtook 3rd in the $100k Guaranteed on Bodog, which still managed to have a small overlay despite all the growth in tournament fields. In the $200k Guaranteed on UltimateBet, which also had a small overlay, x2then(left) was the 2nd place finisher, beating out a final table that included P5ers easytiger2, JohnnyBax, and B00mer888. Best of luck to everyone in the coming week. 24. Apestyleshad yet another impressive weekend, and that included a second place finish in the PartyPoker $200k guaranteed for a $24k payday. TheWacoKiddtook 6th in this event for $8k, and at this point, P5ers were just getting started on that site. Browerkidalso made the final table in the Friday Special the night before. On Sunday, B_O_K_Ehad a huge score, also on PartyPoker, winning more than $52k for finishing 3rd in the $1M guaranteed. Two other P5ers, dmmikkel86and CoolHandTony also final tabled this one, finishing 9th and 10th respectively. P5s also had yet another winner in the PokerStars $1M guaranteed, which was a $200+15 buy in with one rebuy and one add-on this week. mMagic_Cards, who posts on P5s as DoGGz, took down first after chopping 4 ways in a deal that left him with a monster share of the prizepool, and he took home $147k for his work! As usual, multiple P5ers did well in the Paradise $150k guaranteed, including Bushman, who took 2nd for a very nice payday. PokerJoe9, who had already had 3 top 4 finishes in big rebuys in the previous 24 hours, took 6th in this one. Bodog and Full Tilt also had P5ers at the final table of their marquee events. YellowSubfinished 7th on Bodog in the $100k guaranteed. On Full Tilt, the 2nd place finisher was baller11782, who posts here as LUHMAN, and the 4th place finisher was rioace, who posts on this site as AceKQ. blance23also reached the final table, finishing 7th for more than $6k. 25. Who went on the best run this weekend? The winner had to be milkshakeman, who placed in the top five both Saturday and Sunday in the PartyPoker $200 events, winning more than $42k between the two. He had to outlast a particularly tough field on Sunday, with a final table that included ranked player sirio11, who always seems to be making it through these big fields. A couple other well known big winners this weekend were G6Dragonand DblGutshot, who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the $350k Guaranteed event on PokerStars. This is the second time in the last few months that DblGutShot has placed in the top 3 in this tournament, which is extremely impressive, considering the size of the field. G6Dragon was also no stranger to the final table of this event. On UltimateBet, nopoolsnarrowly missed winning the big Sunday tourney, coming in second and winning more than $23k. PocketFives.com blogger Denny Lemieux came in 6th in this event, winning nearly $4k. Both nopoolsand Denny Lemieuxhave made this final table multiple times in the past, and for each, this tournament was just another addition to an already impressive UltimateBet resume.
