  1. Thanks for the up-date Chris...was just wondering recently how you were doing. With PA getting regulated soon, there is always the option of moving back here if things don't work out on the live felts. However, this is a great opportunity for you to explore and experience other states, countries and cultures so I'm happy you're getting this opportunity no matter what. Will be praying for you and hope you remember to keep up-dating the blog so we can follow your progress. Finish 2017 strong and may 2018 be your best year yet in every way possible!

Thank you Gilbert! I haven't put enough time into online in the past 6 months. I'm honestly not even sure if I'm +EV in the online games anymore. I haven't put the work into it this year and I'm not sure if I can come close to making the same hourly online that I am making in the cash games in Florida. Having said that, I will certainly consider a move back to PA when regulation hits. I am also fairly home sick. I miss my friends and family, but not the cold weather.

I have been following along with your blog too. Good to see you are still crushing. It motivates me to want to work harder.

    Good luck going forward!

  2. This happened to me Dec 8th playing the Nightly 7:45EST 7500GTD. I was 8th in chips. Tournament "crashed" and was put on hold for a full 45 mins then resumed.

This usually only happens at later stages of the tournament and I suspect this happens when ACR feels they may not hit their GTD. In this "limbo" players can still register thus extending the registration time. I have seen them both be delayed and cancelled. So if they give the extra time and they still do not think they will reach the GTD amount they will just cancel it.

Its sketchy but I get it.

I can understand why you think that, but do you think a company as big as theres really cares if the 7.5K overlays a couple of times?

  3. First off, this isn't a blog post.

Second: The cancelation process is in there terms of service. If late reg is over, there will be an ICM chop among the players remain. If late reg is not over, everyone will receive their buyins back.

Third: ACR is catering to the American base. They will not be in the picture long term (and they know that) so there is no need to spend a ton of money in software development. They need to do the best they can right now, because there is not telling when they will have to shut down shop.

  4. Hey guys,

I am in Zurich, Switzerland now. The week didn't go as planned, having gone 0 for 4 in tournaments. I'm coming home tomorrow feeling pretty down on poker. I think traveling for live events makes getting knocked out feel that much more hard. I'll have full blog posts of my trip in the coming weeks.

    Thank you for the support

    Run good and think positive!

  5. Congrats on your recent success... For the reasons you already mentioned that J8 hand is just a call.. you're not getting called by worse with your reshove so there is no value in the shove. But a good sign that that you overcame the adversity and final tabled anyways. Maybe adding one story off the felts per article would personally make it more interesting for me. I like hearing of people's lives outside the game as well (doesn't have to be anything life changing' date=' but anything adds a nice touch)[/quote']

Thanks for the response AJ. When I was discussing it at the table, everyone thought I was crazy for even thinking about just calling but it went through my mind for sure.

I've enjoyed your blog for a while. I'll try to take your suggestions to improve this.

    Thanks again!

    Chris

  6. Im pretty sure is not a downswing. Due to the number of games it makes me think you´re not playing optimal for the levels or the kind of game you play right now.

You should try to invest more time studying your game and also the game selection.

Unfortunately this looks right. You need to get involved with a training site, play on smaller sites, and work on your game. A 12k game downswing just doesn't happen without other factors.
