  1. Hi everyone. I have multiple venom tickets (1 ticket = $2650 value) and would like to sell at least one. I'm already registered and will play as you can't play and transfer tickets unless you have multiple. It's been a long time since I've done any trades on here but have a history and people could contact/verify. Since ACR facilitates ticket and cash transfers, I will trade only for ACR cash. I play a lot on ACR as "AAnoob" so keeping cash is good. It would require both of us to send the same email stipulating the trade terms that way they could reverse transactions if any issues arise. Half the agreed upon price for the ticket must be sent to me before the ticket is sent. Once cash is received through player transfers, ACR will transfer the ticket to the other user, and the other user will have to send the rest of the ticket payment to me through player transfer. Let me know if you're interested as this helps me see if I should keep trying to earn additional tickets. I want to have a few bullets, but extra tickets are useless beyond day 1. Feel free to PM me, real buyers only, Thanks!
  2. Here's a final update on some of my withdraw issues posted about previously. My first withdraw has finally been completed via check. I received it 6/16/16 after attempting for several weeks. Should I continue to play, I hope it will not be as difficult in the future. Thank you for your assistance ACR Rep.
  3. I wanted to provide an update here. Immediately after posting the above message, I received an apology from the customer support saying my withdraw would be processed and received within a few days and that I would get the $65 check fee waived. This was a very similar message that I received from the ACR rep. Since then, I've continued to have issues with getting my debit card after I've sent the required information three separate occasions. This links to the lack of consistency ad communication both internally and externally, but I don't need to talk about the conversations at this moment. I was happy and hopeful but on 6/8/16 I got a message saying my $2800 cashout has been canceled due to insufficient funds to cover the fee for the check. This is odd considering it was supposed to be free along with the processing and disbursement already taking a few more days than typical (on top of the ACR rep mentioning the check will be sent). This is the fourth cancellation for one reason or another and just adds to the frustration. On 6/9/16 I issued a $3k cashout via check which is still processing and has a 0 fee. I hope this check passes through as I don't enjoy struggling to get money off. It's been seven weeks since I've been trying to get a cashout completed after already being cleared with withdraws via multiple avenues.
  4. Hello everyone and ACR rep, I was curious about other experiences with ACR, so I came to this thread a while back and was happy to see that I would have good chances of playing poker and as an American user, be able to retrieve funds should I be fortunate enough to earn enough to cashout. Unfortunately, I've had an incredibly difficult time with cashouts on ACR over the past few weeks. I will not go into detail at the moment, but a few cashouts have been canceled after going through the painstaking withdrawal approval process. I accepted everything with patience but after I've had issues withdrawing I felt the need to share my experience. The entire process of communicating with ACR reps, disseminating and acquiring of correct pertinent information, and trying to withdraw has been extremely disheartening. This makes me wary of having any money on the site but with limited options available I am grateful to be able to play but not if my energy, discipline and efforts are not rewarded with even being able to cashout. Now onto the focus of this post. I just initiated another cashout via bank draft (check), and this is the first time yet I have a listed fee of $65. In a previous post you mention the bank draft method being available for free so would you be able to get the $65 returned to my account? This withdrawal is still in the processing phase, so I'm hoping to be finally able to receive funds over the next 7-10 days. I have attempted and waited stoically for two other withdraws via paytocard that was canceled while not receiving the debit card that I requested over the last few weeks. It's unfortunate that a deposit works in 30 seconds, yet a withdraw can't seem to happen over 30 days. I'm also contacting you because you have seemingly been able to help people, and I'd like to be able to cash out using the paytocard, and debit card option which I've faced issues over the last few weeks with. Can you provide any insight as to why the paytocard option has been intermittently available? I have been playing on ACR frequently for the last few months and hope to continue but not if I'm unable to get my cash in hand. I will send you my account information and any support would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
  5. I recently sat and spoke to an immigration officer at the Windsor, Ontario border. She said there has been an influx of people coming over to play online poker but have been going about it the wrong way. While people are crossing with different methods and plans, once you have an issue it will create a huge problem in the future. The best option she gave me is to have a temporary residence in which you make it clear it is temp everytime you cross over. To do this you can provide information that links you to the US still. Mail being sent in your name to a US residence, bills, school enrollment, bank accounts etc etc. Make it clear you are not trying to live there permanently or you will definitely have issues crossing and may not even be able to get over. Traveling with a car load of materials is a sure sign way to get denied entry. She also said 6 months is not a given and it is upon their discretion at the amount of time they will allow you. She said they have to be clear you are not spending more than 50% of your time in Canada. That 50% can be measured weekly, monthly or yearly. It seemed like it could be a hassle if you plan on crossing back and forth to play but if you are transparent in your activities and show the proper documentation ( travel with a folder to show) they will be very open and accommodating. She said eventually they would make a note of you in their system to allow ease of travel. I wasn't sure about moving there as a permanent resident as she said that would be very hard unless you are a student which means becoming a student and showing documentation obv.

  8. I looked in my bank account to see some good news. I cashed out probably 10-14 hours before all the problems happened. Low and behold I found my deposit listed in my bank account but it was charged a wire transfer fee and seems to be through a different processor.

    river call?

I Can see that. I had been leading a lot of flops so decided not to. His line seems so fishy for a two pair+ hand. Seemed to me like felt weak wantd to get to show down and seen my weak bet thought to take it away. I did want him to do something like that with that river bet but when he actually did it it was hard to stick it in. Still called, showed up w q10o. I just didn't know if it was a highly subjective reasoning spot which apparently it was.

    river call?

Villain hasn't gotten out of line. he is a SNE and we had one significant hand in a diff tourney about 15 min ago, where he effectively busted me after i called a river shove to his two pair. In my head that comes into play..Along with the weakish value bet on river when i think im ahead. WWYD? JJ near bubble

Giving the utg raise alot of respect plus the large 3 bet. I am thinking of AK,TT+. While I don't care about cashing we are two away from the bubble and no one has gotten out of hand so it doesn't seem like anyone is stealing. 23. I've played a lot of different sports ran track/played football at the collegiate level. With all sports come injuries and the most common would be overuse ones. Concussions happen in football, I was a db and only had one in my lifetime and I dont think I will sustain any life long effects. On the flip side I have had two finger surgeries, and an ankle surgery. I'm 23 and my back and hips feel like an old man. Can't sleep how I want to because my shoulders are f'd up from years of improper tackling and what not. Competing at the d-1 level for 4-6 (dependent upon RS or med RS) years. Involves alot more than just going out and playing a game. You are pounding your body everyday in and out of the weightroom. Anyhow my point is, I think concussions are actually a small worry when playing football but the problems that persist with football will happen in other sports. I know plenty of pro/collegiate/olympic athletes and it's just part of the territory. Most of the injuries that athletes suffer go unspoken, but if you have the ability to speak to someone honestly about how their body feels I think most of them will tell you absolutely terrible. I think kids are fine playing up to the HS level because teh training isn't drastic enough to damage them later in life nor are the size and strength of the opponents. After that you should be worried about whether or not they're going to continue but ultimately leave the decision up to them. Football/Sports carry plenty of positives along with the negatives and just like any decisions you have to weigh them against one another. While I would never take back any of my decisions and am thankful for all the bonds and experiences I had competing, I would much rather my kids enjoy the college life without varsity sports. Prior to college, I hope they play everything under the sun. I will never stop them from doing anything they want can only tell them what I have learned. If they choose or do not choose to play sports at whatever level it is their choice. Alot of injuries can be avoided and when it comes to the freak injuries that's just going to happen no matter how much proper training, diet, or preparation you do. Biggest win is that I don't have to pay back 200k plus in loans.
  24. Anyone have any interesting stories from them parlaying big wins or a lot of earnings into substantial forms of income outside of the poker realm?
