If you are not preparing and trying to improved your poker game everyday then you are preparing to fail. No one is an expert at poker so we have to try to improve even if we don't think we need improvement. I spend 3 to 4 hours a day reading about poker an watching poker training videos, I do whatever I can just to try to improve my game. I played on pokerstars since 2007 but up until November 2010 I played in tournament with less than a 0.50 cent buy-in but in November 2010 I moved up in stakes, it wasn't much of a jump in stakes but I had a process I was going to stick to. in late November 2010 I moved up to the 1.10 to 3.30 buy-in stakes and I did pretty well. from November 2010 to april 15th 2011 I had a profit of over 2,000 and in may 2011 I was going to move up to the $11 to $22 stakes then jan. 1st 2011 I was going to move up again but black Friday hit and ruined them plans. I truly believe if black Friday didn't happen you would know my name online or live or even both but it didn't workout like that but I still try to improve my game because like I said if you're not trying to improve your game then you are preparing to fail. I currently play in play money tournaments on pokerstars just to improve my game because I know at some point I will get my shot. I am going to play in the series America's Cardroom has going starting tomorrow, my bankroll is just 19 bucks so I better do good starting out or it will be over before it starts unless I get staked but I doubt that happening anytime soon. So keep trying to improve your game even if you don't think you need it.
