Folding KK with a fullboat?
5xBB raise definitely is heavily weighted towards QQ JJ TT AK. KK is ahead a great majority of the time here, so folding is a bad play. You're ahead at least 90% of the time in this situation, and probably more than 95% of the time to be honest. Folding is bad. Good call.

9max turbo: strategic fold vs. Nash push as chiplead at 5 left
Take that A7 and shove it superfast. A7 is actually a monster hand for this spot. I'd shove much lighter. Note also that your opponents calling way too wide means they are also calling with hands that A7 beats. The bounty does make a difference here also.Without the bounties - here is your Nash Equilibrium shoving range:CO 52.3%, 22+ Ax+ K2s+ K5o+ Q2s+ Q8o+ J2s+ J8o+ T4s+ T8o+ 95s+ 98o 85s+ 87o 75s+ 64s+ 53s+ And their calling ranges: BU 9.4%, 77+ A8s+ ATo+ KQs SB 9%, 77+ A9s+ ATo+ KQs BB 18.1%, 55+ A4s+ A7o+ K9s+ KTo+ QJs Note that when they are calling wider, almost every hand they are ...

Am I really missing out by not multi-tabling?
Suggestions: - Start 10-tabling playchip tables to gete used to it. - Add one smaller buyin and keep it in the background while you focus on your reads on the bigger buyin tournament. - Just jump in with two tables but pay very close attention to the action, taking as many notes as you possibly can. The jump from 1 to 2 is the most significant. It's 100% more tables. The jump from 2 to 3, 3 to 4 etc will be easier.

To check or shove that is the question
I'd think you don't have enough fold equity. The bigger stack (piston) isn't going to fold often enough here. cowboy may be trapping UTG. See a flop, and when you hit, you'll usually be able to stack someone.

AKs first hand of sng facing a 3b shove???
It's not the stake so much, it's the player, and therefore the range of hands that you are up against that matters. Even at a higher level SNG, there are losing players (or else the skilled players wouldn't even play because they couldn't beat the rake) We fold it to any range that AKs doesn't beat about 54-55% of the time. If our opponent has AQ in their range, especially if they are less likely to have AA, then this is a call.

AKs first hand of sng facing a 3b shove???
It's a call. You are ahead of their range by far enough to make this call comfortably.

Warning to others about Carbon
CarbonRyan, this is a very bad policy. A player who wins a ticket like this should have as long as they would like to use it. There's no good reason to rob the player of money he won from a prize pool, other than profiting at the player's expense.

Paying yourself out of your online winnings (cashes)
McBain - a few thoughts on your questions: Using ABI sucks - it's just an excuse for people to play over their heads. If you have $4000, your max MTT buyin shouldn't exceed $20.00. This doesn't mean that's responsible to play an equal amount of $10s and $30s. The $10s would be responsible, and the $30s would be irresponsible. Your poker bankroll is the total amount of money that you have available to play poker with. So, you would add up all the money you have on the sites and any offsite funds that are specifically for poker. Hopefully, if your poker bankroll is more than a few thousand, ...

Paying yourself out of your online winnings (cashes)
I'll add my two cents to WackyJaxon's post - I agree with him 100%: To be perfectly clear: Just because money is "in your poker bankroll" DOES NOT mean that you should have it online, and in my opinion, that's regardless of what country you live in. Never keep more online than you'd be fully comfortable losing, and generally speaking - keeping more than two day's buyins for your MTTs online doesn't usually make sense.

Soooo, basically i cant play poker online? (USA)
Bovada has been around for a long time (as Bodog, etc) and has never, as far as I know, not paid a single player. I don't play online anymore, but if I were to, that's where I'd start.

Question for OT atheists: What to do in church
I'm atheist. It's okay to do what you did. It's also okay to pray as a "tradition" (same reason we celebrate Christmas anyway, etc). After all you aren't going to offend your non-God by praying to this one. I appreciate your desire to not be fake. When confronted, express this desire. Tell them that you felt as though you would have been fake if you had prayed, and you didn't want to disrespect the dead by being fake.

When you are short stacked and in the big blind what % commits you?
To clarify: With 4bb, if it's close, and you call, you'll either have 9ish BB (and fold equity) or you'll be out. If you fold, you'll have no fold equity. Therefore, if it's close, go ahead and call.

When you are short stacked and in the big blind what % commits you?
number of chips you would be calling/total chips in play after you call will leave you with a percentage, and if your hand will win that often, you should play. Example: You have 87o in the BB with 4BB total. Blinds are 100-200, no antes. After posting the BB, you have 600 left. Button raises to 3xBB. SB folds. The button's 800, plus the 100 the SB put in, plus the 200 you put in are in the pot. That's 1100. If you call for 600, you will be playing for a pot of 1700. 600/1700 = 35.29%. 87o 35.32% 28% of all hands 64.68% If you think he's raising wider than 27% of all hands, you should ...

It's a push. The tightest range I'd push here is something like 30.0%, 22+ Ax+ K6s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QTo+ J8s+ T8s+ 98s 87s

Skill Level Segregation on Party Poker
While the idea of there being a monopoly sounds really horribad, the scary thing is that Stars having 100% of market share in the USA would be way better than the status quo. Anyway, I'm with the posters that believe that segregated poker pools is an unethical practice. If you need to segregate, don't do so by winrate, at least put beginners in a pool where they are up against other beginners.

Bad Call Down?? (Im thinking yes now looking back...)
I see your logic in calling, but he's going to show up with 97,96, T8, 76 a lot more often than he'll show up with a bluff. Not too many people bluff in a 4-way pot.

How sad for humans with such a tiny minds like atheists
OP is sorta ridiculous. Obviously, atheists are at least as equally open-minded as religious people. We are just using logic, and the giant lack of evidence is extraordinary. We are, by definition, "free thinkers". No, fantasy does not make all possible. I disagree with bfactor when he says that an atheist chooses not to believe in God. I am an atheist, and I didn't make that choice. I would, in fact, much prefer that I am wrong and that there is a God, he was good, and that eternal life is a possibility. No matter how hard I wanted to or tried, I would not be capable of choosing to believe ...

Surprised there's no new Tebow thread; rabidly bigoted forms of Christianity related
Tebow didn't make these comments himself, nor did he endorse them just by agreeing to speak at this church. If and when he does make comments like this, then it would be appropriate to associate those comments with him. I agree that it's not good PR.

How much should you spend on an engagement ring?
If it's the right woman, she won't care as long as you truly love her. If you want a straight answer: Try $1k-5k. Anything more than that is just too much.
