  1. There are also updates on Card Player--they have the rights to live updates for the WSOPC events. Be warned that they tend to only do double ups and bust outs, but between that and @pokernews on Twitter, that is about as close to live as the updates are going to get for that particular event.
  2. Wearing one of my new P5s shirts right now and I am absolutely in love. In the ridiculous Las Vegas heat having a nice, thin, comfortable t-shirt cannot be overrated. If you haven't invested one, I strongly encourage you to sooner rather than later. The dark grey ones are especially rad = )

    The Ivey Room

I don't have the ones of the room itself, but there are a couple of photos from the event here: http://news.bluffmagazine.com/the-ivey-room-opens-at-aria-casino-11009/ There is also a vid from the event up on PNews where you get a much better glimpse of the place: http://www.pokernews.com/video/phil-ivey-room-opening-at-aria-87399014001.htm

    The Ivey Room

It is the new high stakes room at the Aria Poker Room. It is in the vein of Bobby's Room at the Bellagio. They did the official launch for the room yesterday and i have genuinely never seen Phil Ivey so happy in his life. He was saying it will be the place for high stakes games this summer instead of Bellagio. The room is really nice, lots of big plasmas, seems a little more spacious than Bobby's Room. There is also a glass door so you can see inside and see who is playing, which is kind of cool.
  5. I don't know if this is much consolation, but I do want to let you guys know that several of us who used to work for P5s Live will be present during the summer. I'll be working for Bluff and Rich and Brett will both be working with Poker News. I am not sure what our exact plans are in terms of covering online players for the summer, but you guys can at least rest assured that there will be people in the media at a number of outlets who at least know who the online players are. I don't know about Rich and Brett, but I would love to meet any P5ers playing at the series, so please feel free to come up in the media risers and say hello = )

    Poker Vocab Debate

This is a valid point, but my question is this: would you ever write "15 bb" w/o following it up w/ the word "stack"? Yes, it is used to describe the size of a stack, but when denoting how many blinds you have, you typically write 15bbs, no?

    Poker Vocab Debate

I realize this is a bit of an asinine question to post here, but I am having a debate with one of my fellow reporters, BJ Nemeth. When referring to how many big blinds a player has in their stack, what is the more commonly accepted way to describe a stack of 15 big blinds. Or, to put it another way, how would you write it? a) 15 bbs b) 15 bb Any input would be greatly appreciated = )
  8. Devo is most definitely one of the good guys. Beyond excited to see him book a big win. Now, Mr. Devonshire, I think we need some pics of your new sassy ring = )
  9. Congrats Chad! Enjoy your new gold jersey instead of your cute lil spaceman = )

    Lucky You

Like many others in this thread, I remember him moving his cards out of the hole cam area and looking at them in secret. I also could be making this up, but I feel like an actual player like Erik Seidel or someone did the same thing when the cameras were first introduced and that the incident in the film was inspired by something that happened in real life.
  13. Looks like High Stakes DB to me (http://www.highstakesdb.com)
  14. The rumors are Gabe is going to get a female co-host. I've heard the name Vanessa Rousso as a possible candidate, but that is wayyy unconfirmed.
