    P5s Scouting Report

Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy is a name synonymous with online poker excellence. He stormed onto the scene in 2005, and became the #1 ranked online tournament player in the world in April '05, as he began dominating high-stakes tournament action on major sites. Cliff's rapid development as a poker player began when he was introduced to the game by fellow online poker legend Eric "sheets" Haber. He holds the record for longest reign at #1 worldwide, having held that distinction for over a year in 2005/2006. In June '05, competing in his first ever Seven Card Stud tournament, Cliff Josephy captured a WSOP bracelet for $192,150. In September '06, he finished runner-up in the Ultimate Bet Aruba Poker Classic for $447,000.

Also in 2006, Cliff became a lead instructor for PokerXFactor, and produced training videos that revolutionized online tournament play. He has been widely recognized as one of the world's elite poker talents since 2005, despite being a generation older than many of today's superstars.

A multiple PocketFives Triple Crown winner, Cliff took down the FTOPS X Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Event #15 for $46,000. He won the PokerStars $1k Super Tuesday for $68,250 in April '09 and took down the $85k Guaranteed for another $46,650 in September '09. More recently, he has a victory in the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Brawl for $78,300 (June '10) along with a runner-up performance in the PokerStars $100 Sunday rebuy for $64,500 (August '10). He also placed 3rd in the Full Tilt $1k Monday in March '10 for $38,500.

In May 2012, Josephy was back at it, this time winning a $5K NLHE event leading up to the WPT Championship in Las Vegas and earning $165,000.
