  1. The other day I was a little concerned with a pop up requiring me to accept the new Stars End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) and Privacy Policy. There was no FAQ or Explanatory Memorandum to the changes. I read both documents... but did most? I didn't understand what had changed requiring me to re commit to the agreements / policies. So I asked. The response is below which is, in my view, harmless. However, I have suggested to Stars that in the future they provide explanation to changes so that players are properly informed. Hello MattInDaHat, Thank you for your email. We regularly update our EULA from time to time to incorporate amendments to or deletions from our terms and conditions. The changes address different areas ranging from the merger of Full Tilt onto our software platform (which resulted in the deletion of provisions relating to account pairing), the inclusion of other Rational Group brands such as ‘BetStars,’ and ‘Full Tilt,’ within the ambit of the EULA, the redefinition of ‘User’ account to the more collective term, “Stars Account,” reflecting the fact that a player now has one unified account across our platforms. In order to enable you to use our services and in some cases, comply with our regulatory requirements, we may need to identify your geographic location. Our new End User License Agreement (EULA) reflects these requirements. By giving your consent to these new terms, you agree that we (or a third party acting on our behalf) may access or use this location data, or other such data, derived from your device for this purpose. Please also note that we still operate under a strict privacy policy and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the personal information we may need to collect from you.
