  1. FDA panel backs Pfizer's low-dose COVID-19 vaccine for kids https://wcti12.com/news/n...id-19-vaccine-for-kids “ “I do think it’s a relatively close call,” said adviser Dr. Eric Rubin of Harvard University. “It’s really going to be a question of what the prevailing conditions are but we’re never going to learn about how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it.” (bold is my emphasis). That sure inspires confidence as to its safety and necessity in children. One would think that since the virus causes such little morbidity and mortality in children, that a very high bar of safety, efficacy, and necessity would need to be passed for it to be approved under emergency use. In the trial of around 2300 children, 16 in the placebo group ended up getting infected. 3 in the vaccine group. ZERO serious infections, hospitilizations, or deaths. So what's this vaccine's number needed to treat to prevent hospitalizations/deaths in children? Oh, you can't calculate it based on your trial? Sounds like you need a bigger trial. Out of the 200 children in both arms who had evidence of prior COVID, ZERO got reinfected. It's an emergency in children? Really?
