no electronics before bed, that can mess up your circadian rhythm. read a book or go take a bath and make some hot tea (with no caffeine). working out is a good idea as well, since you have been sitting around all day and your body is prolly screaming at you for some physical movement. also, set an alarm and get up at the same time everyday, it will get your body into a cycle and you wont have to catch up here and there, which can wreak havoc as well. when i was grinding in Costa Rica, i encountered the worst bout of insomnia ive ever had and its one of the things that made me decide to quit playing poker all day every fucking day. i got valium to help sleep (didnt ask, costa rican dr just pushed it on me) and that was retarded as well.
