  1. as far as what Aristokat from New Jersey said, Never trust your gut feeling, unless your gut is so big that your farts tickle your belly button, if it does, then you can trust that gut feeling"..........lmao... Now as for your hand, I will quote Doyle Brunson. I couldn't begin to tell you how much money over the years I've lost with AQ, But I have to say, it's won me a lot of money with it too. I hope that helps you feel a little better. I've beat AA with AQ a few times, either got lucky with a straight, hit 2 queens. but either way, still an under dog, but I think AQ is a great hand. you did fine playing it, just ran into some bad luck. Peace..and better luck next time.
  2. why not try buying a 32" TV and getting it wall mounted. then buy a small tower, or a gaming PC. like one of these, it may cost a little more, but I know you would be very happy with it, ebay link... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-NUC-8-VR-Gaming-Desktop-Computer-i7-8705G-Mini-PC-Black-AMD-Radeon-RX-Vega/274373772404?hash=item3fe1f38474:g:XfkAAOSwPKZeyAek
  3. wearing a mask will not keep you from getting the corona virus, unless you use bandit oil on it. people in china didn't put a mask on to keep from getting sick, they wore one to keep other people from getting sick, to keep their germs from going airborne when they would cough, or sneeze. I used to remove asbestos, you have to go to school and be licensed to be able to to do that job, and you have to study why a respirator is so important, and why a dust mask won't do you any good against asbestos, so if a dust mask won't work for asbestos, how would it work for contaminated air"... it won't. I am not wearing a mask, nor am I going to wear a respirator everywhere either. I will go where ever I need to, and I am not going to live my life in fear. Better to Live and Die Today, than it is To Hide in a corner and wait for death. You Know What FEAR Stands For? It stands for 'False Evidence Appearing Real <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
  4. I don't like a lot of the answers I'm seeing here it really doesn't make much sense to me. I will explain now. Okay, pocket 10's are a baby monster hand. but you really need to hit one in order for you win. I mean AK has a 43% chance of hitting from any pre flop. and you have no Idea if one the hands you are up against isn't A 10, and the other 10 was folded, like a 10 2. most pro's fold Jacks in that situation. so I would say folding the 10's would have been the best choice, then looking for the next best hand to shove. like AJ AQ AK or QQ, but believe it or not, a lot of pro's would have thought about even folding QQ to an all in, because AK has a 43% advantage, and everyone knows, online it has even more odds that that". an ace or a king will hit the board about 70% of the time online. if you fold that pair of 10's, chances are pretty good that a few more players will get beat before you do, and that may bring you a better payout, not to mention, if you shove a few hands later and hit, you will be placing higher yet in the tournament. so again, I would be folding a hand that has a 9% chance. even though I believe you had a better chance than the 9%, but either way, I'm folding.
  5. the reason is simple, you have a buy in, if you lose the buy in, that's all you lose, if you hit the payouts, you have played, and had some fun, and even turned a small profit. but if you get to run deep into the Tournament, then you can turn a small buy in, into a huge profit. it's all to easy to sit down at a cash table, build a good stack, and lose it all to a bad beat, then have to start over, but in a MTT you can build a big stack, lose it late in the Tournament, and still leave with more than you started out with. it's the (safe way) or the best way to gamble with low to little risk of losing a large amount..
  6. Usually, what I do when Hitting a set with Aces, is check when there are 2 suited cards on the board, then if I get raised, I shove, that way the other player doesn't know if I'm sitting with the hearts, or maybe he's putting me on AK. if he raises me, then I can usually bet he's got an over pair to the board, with a flop like that, because I would highly doubt he would have called my pre flop raise with any of those cards, unless he played A rag, or maybe A,2 or A4, be either way, you know you have the best hand with a set. but if there are more than 1 other player who called my pre flop raise, after the flop, I'm betting 1/2 to 3/4 pot. try to entice some folds. then after being heads up, I would slow check the turn, and call the raise, then hope for the board to pair. be either way, he could think he's got the best hand with A8 or A4 I'm never folding top set. but you could re raise his bet going over the top to represent the flush, to see if he is either bluffing, or calling with 2 pair. even if he hit a set of 8's you have him. if he was playing KJ of hearts, he may have you, but if I'm playing you after calling a big raise pre flop, I'm going to give a good bluff bet on the 3rd suited card hitting the board. it's a good move. as now you know..
  7. I don't have an account to post this, but I do want to warn people, with all online poker sites. almost all of them pay out, but they all scam too. First off, Global Poker does have something fishy going on. here is the proof, and it really can't be denied. Their # 1 Poker player on their site, for the last 2 yrs. is named BigTILTcity he plays all day on the bigger Tournaments, Usually the 3k games. and is almost always on the final table. all of the Tournament players who register for the games before the games start, they are all in Alphabetical order, but... BigTILTcity is usually the first one in the list, even before other players who's names start with the A's, or even the people's names who start with a number. Another Player on their site who plays the lower stakes games is Holser, he's usually always listed first as well. when looking up both of those players on sharkscope, they have winning graphs that would put them up there with some of the greatest poker players in the world. neither one of those players have a big drop in their graphs, both are on a near perfect up and up winning graph. all of the greatest pro's of all time have losing ruts, but these guys don't look like they are not hitting the money very often. I myself have played millions of hands online, and I'm in the top 2% all time cashouts on poker stars play money tournaments. But I'm not hitting the money nearly every game on Global. but BigTILTcity is. and people who win as much as he does usually gets their accounts banned. but nope, he's their #1 player since the first yr he's joined, and he has made 1000's of dollars on their site, and you can check that for yourselves on sharkscope, not to mention most always being listed 1's in front of other players who are listed in Alphabetical order. even the greatest players get card dead sometimes, so how is he the leading player, who is usually hitting the final table, there is an online interview of him speaking, you should really listen to it. it even sounds fishy to listen to. I also would like to add though, I made a $20.00 deposit on Global, and ran it up to $262.00 but is hasn't been easy. and it didn't happen quickly either. but here is the podcast. where they talk to BigTILTcity, and Steve Sample. after a huge game on Global. https://talkingglobalpoker.buzzsprout.com/847189/2932276-ep-06-bigtiltcity Peace, and good luck to all of you with building your bank rolls. I truly wish you the best, Joe..
