  1. Meant to save the hand history but I forgot. I was playing a cash game in middle position. Get dealt 66 and just call to see a flop. Flop comes 6, 5, 3. Yay I flopped top set but looks like a straight could rear its ugly head so I make a pot size bet. Get one caller. Turn is a 2. I make another pot size bet and get a call. The wonderful river is a 4 making a straight on the board. I check (knowing that the best I can do is tie the pot). The villian makes a small value bet and I call him. He flips over 77 giving him the higher straight. My question is did I make any mistakes and How often do you make a bet over the size of the pot?
