Mike first entered the Top 100 Rankings in May of 2007, and re-entered in July '08. His February '08 final table appearance in the FTOPS $300 rebuy tournament was good for $42,500. After final tabling the Full Tilt $750k Guaranteed in June '08, he placed 2nd in the PokerStars $200 Sunday rebuy (losing to fellow P5'er "Deckzor" in a long heads-up battle) for another $31k. In November '08, he took 3rd place in the FTOPS X Event #14 ($200+16 NLHE Turbo) for another $50,100.

In May 2012, Watson finished second in a PokerStars SCOOP $2,100 NLHE Six-Max event for $220,000, falling to 7tHEcROw7 heads-up. Three months later, Watson finished fourth in the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $28,000. He closed out 2012 with a bang by making the final table of the weekly PokerStars Sunday 500 and cashing in for $43,000.
