Global poker is Heaven
They have tournaments too. None super big. Quite a few in the $5 to $30 range with prize pools comparable to the smaller field ACR tournaments of the same buyin. The structures seem to kinda suck though.

How to play ACR on a Mac
I get what you are saying but the nice thing about big WSOP sats like that is they are generally considerably softer than other $500 buyin tournaments. Maybe that isn't the case on ACR, but it probably is.

I mean stars has great options for microstakes. With good BR management $100 should be easy to avoid going bust if you are a winning player.

Nice score. Not surprised at being tired, these ACR tournaments are brutal with the hours and hours of late reg. A 275 player tournament shouldn't take 8 hours lol

Bounty Builder $3.30 35 bigs 70/140 unsure with 88/ Re-raised on TURN!!!
This is a crappy spot but I think its just a fold. Like you pointed out, there are just a ton of combos that beat you. Not sure what you are hoping to accomplish with your bet on the turn here though. Most worse hands are folding, and pretty much every better hand is calling. Only good reason I can think of is to maybe try and price out straight draws, but thats such a small part of his range here, and they might even check on the river if they do hit. Obviously it really sucks when you check back and he rivers some nonsense here, but I think its probably best to check and make a decision ...

Question About Bankroll Management and Moving Up From Microstakes
Lots of people gave good advice so I don't have a lot to add, but I'll just tell you what my (probably pretty liberal) strategy was. I would move up when I had 25 buyins to the next game, and move back down if I fell below 20. I would never move up until I had at least 10k hands at the lower level and felt that I was both a strong winner, and that I'm not just running super hot and overestimating myself. This worked pretty well for me. A couple stakes I played quite a bit over 10k hands despite being rolled for the next level, just because I felt like I wasn't really beating the game as ...

Pokerstars Zoom watch action?
I haven't played on stars in years but I seem to remember that if you sit out before you fold you can watch the rest of the hand. Maybe they changed it though.

They probably never had anyone ask to deal razz before and didn't bother to get it approved by the gaming board. I'm sure there are all kinds of crazy specific rules about the kinds of games they can and cannot run.

But based on you being here I'm guessing you are just a little more into poker than most people who play in the average home game. I have a lot of friends who like poker, but none that are posting on poker forums or watching the WSOP streams. I think for them holdem is fun, and they struggle enough as is trying to get good at that to play other games. Every time I've suggested we play another game at a home game, no one is up for it really, except in home games I played with other pro's way back when before black friday. But yeah, I always hoped with streaming they would focus more on ...

Big Leak In My Game Identified: AA, KK, QQ
Yeah QQ is definitely not an auto preflop ship at 9 handed .01/.02. I flat 3 bets with it a lot. AA and KK you should probably be trying to get it in usually, though its a good idea to flat these at least some of the time to balance ranges a bit and to be a little deceptive. Now if you have an image of being super aggressive, especially with 3bets/4bets, and you notice specific people playing back at you more, you can get QQ in vs them pretty comfortably in my experience. Now for these types of hands in the situation where you raise and get multiple callers, you should really think of it ...

JJ in near to bubble phase
Yeah, I wouldn't think that ever in what I'm assuming is a pretty small buyin tournament at the local casino. Also, you didn't mention hands like 67, 87, 98. You should probably be just as worried about these as you are sets since you mentioned he is aggressive and flatting 3bets a lot and there are a lot more combos of these than sets. That being said I'm probably still going broke here. There are enough draws and weaker one pair that he could have that you want to charge here. This is one of those unfortunate spots where you are ahead of enough of his range to make folding pretty bad ...

Short stacked flopping trips, facing action when the flush hits ont he turn.........
I think your line is best. It is really hard for you to have an ace since you defended and you should probably just be shipping most aces pre based on position and stack size. I would expect him to bet almost his entire range on that turn, as this board is pretty bad for your defending range. I wouldn't worry about a flush too much, since this shallow a flush draw should probably just be bet/calling the flop at least some of the time. When he checks I assume he has some kind of value, likely ones to me are a decent K high with one spade, or an underpair, but its a $5 tournament so who ...

I mean they streamed H.O.R.S.E, and I think there is a good chance that 2-7 draw is an easier game for a casual player to understand than some of the split pot games.
