If you're consistently getting deep, but not getting there, the problem might be that you are not playing enough hands once in the late stages I've noticed this is a big problem with alot of players. Coolers could account for some bustouts but not all. Remember tourneys are very top heavy so you gotta kinda go for it once you get deep in a tourney. Some players tend to wait for too good of a hand, but the problem with that is that you end up getting blinded down to 6-7 BB before you make your move, when you could've made a move back when you had 20BB.
