WSOP.com first launched in Nevada in September 2013, becoming the second legal and regulated online poker room to do so in the Silver State. Under the Caesars Interactive Entertainment portfolio, WSOP.com is branded with Caesars’ flagship poker brand, the World Series of Poker.
Although WSOP.com may not have been the first legal and regulated online poker room to launch in Nevada, in many ways the site has been a pioneer, hosting online gold bracelet and gold ring events, plus being the first to successfully run interstate online poker within the new regulated market in the U.S.
In 2015, WSOP.com in Nevada held the first online gold bracelet event as part of the World Series of Poker. Anthony ‘casedismised’ Spinella won the $1,000 buy-in event, topping a field of 905 entries to win $197,743.
In May 2018, shared liquidity opened up for WSOP.com’s player pools in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware, creating the first regulated multi-state online poker offering in the U.S. Later that year, WSOP.com held the first multi-state online gold bracelet event, spanning its player pools from Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware. This event had a $365 buy-in, attracted 2,972 entries, and was won by William ‘Twooopair’ Reymond for $154,996.
Also in 2018, WSOP.com hosted the first online WSOP Circuit gold ring event, with a familiar winner taking the victory. Anthony ‘casedismised’ Spinella topped the pack to take home $35,817 and the gold WSOP Circuit ring.

Powered by 888poker, the WSOP.com software isn’t incredible, but it’s also not in any way bad. It can be confidently classified as good. The lobby is easy and efficient to navigate, especially the more you use the software, and it’s not overly difficult to sign in and find a game within a very short period of time.
Once at a table, the display is simple and very much what you would expect from an online poker site. Buttons and menus are placed in the normal spots. While all of this may sound great, the software isn’t as customizable as players might like.
WSOP.com is the top online poker site in the US, with the largest liquidity and the most traffic. The site features an interstate player pool across Nevada and New Jersey, allowing players from all three states to compete against one another on the virtual felt in a truly multi-state online gaming environment.
WSOP.com has good traffic for both cash games and tournaments, benefitting well from the multi-state player pool the site has access to. As one might expect, No Limit Hold’em cash games, tournaments, and sit-n-gos make up the most trafficked games, but Pot Limit Omaha is readily available most of the time, especially through cash games.
At any given time, a few hundred players will be online at WSOP.com, with many more during peak hours and when the site is running a big tournament series.
WSOP.com offers cash games, multi-table tournaments, sit-n-gos, and BLAST Poker. No Limit Hold’em is the most widely played variant of poker on WSOP.com, but other games can be found in Omaha and Stud.

WSOP.com is the home of official WSOP and WSOP Circuit satellites. The site also hosts WSOP gold bracelet and WSOP Circuit gold ring events.
The most common cash game poker format played on WSOP.com is No Limit Hold’em, with stakes offered as low as $0.01/$0.02 and as high as $100/$200. In addition to its No Limit Hold’em offering, WSOP.com has a wide range of limit hold’em stakes, starting at $0.05/$0.10 and working up to $30/$60.
The second most popular format behind hold’em is Omaha poker, which should come of no surprise, and it’s mostly played in Pot Limit Omaha format. Like No Limit Hold’em, stakes for Pot Limit Omaha range from as low as $0.01/$0.02 and as high as $25/$50 on WSOP.com.
Seven Card Stud and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo are also available as cash games. These games are played in limit format, with stakes as low as $0.02/$0.04 and working up to $10/$20.
Peak hours on WSOP.com are evenings and nights. The window for peak hours on WSOP.com benefits for the two time zones the website has players playing from.
WSOP.com has a wide variety of multi-table tournaments running regularly. The biggest recurring tournament is WSOP.com’s $100K Sunday event, which features a $320 buy-in and a $100,000 prize pool guarantee.
Every Tuesday, WSOP.com runs the $30K Tuesday Showdown. This event features a $500 buy-in and $30,000 prize pool guarantee.

Other Game Formats
BLAST Poker is WSOP.com’s jackpot sit-n-go format. BLAST Poker buy-ins range from $0.10 to $30. With BLAST Poker, players sign-up and a jackpot wheel determines the prize pool amount, between two and 10,000 times the buy-in.
Each Blast SNG is four-handed and there is a timing element at play with the structure. Once all levels at a given multiplier level are complete, the Blast SNG sees all remaining players go all in on every hand until there is a winner.
WSOP.com has a good loyalty program that rewards players both online at WSOP.com and through live rewards tied to Caesars properties.
The WSOP.com Poker Rewards loyalty program has both monthly and yearly levels. The monthly levels are Player, Bronze, SIlver, and Elite. The yearly level is the Champions Club. Program levels are determined by the number of APPs earned in a given time period.
In cash games, players earn 2 APPs for every $1 in rake paid. In tournaments, players also earn 2 APPs for every $1 in rake paid.
Per status level, players can earn multipliers to earn WSOP Points. The WSOP Points can then be converted into cash. Every 100 WSOP Points is worth $1.
The WSOP.com Poker Rewards loyalty program is also linked to the Caesars Rewards program. Players can link the accounts and start earning 1 Caesars Rewards Tier Credit for every 1 APP earned.
Furthermore, WSOP.com will match status tiers of players comparable to those achieved at another online poker site.
WSOP.com’s recurring online tournament series is the WSOP.com Online Championships. It always comes with a wide variety of tournaments and plenty of guaranteed prize money.
During the World Series of Poker every summer, WSOP.com hosts online gold bracelet tournaments. Additionally, WSOP.com holds full WSOP Circuit series that play out on the site.
WSOP.com is the home for official World Series of Poker and WSOP Circuit satellites. Players on WSOP.com can win their way to compete in these live events on a regular basis.
Through WSOP.com satellites, players can win their way to the WSOP Main Event and other WSOP gold bracelet events. Players can also qualify for WSOP Circuit events by playing on WSOP.com.
Customer Support Options
The biggest drawback for WSOP.com is the site’s customer support. You may contact customer support at https://wsop-en.custhelp.com/ but response time can be longer than one would like and there could be more back and forth than one would think is needed.
WSOP.com is the leader in the U.S. for online poker. The brand is good, the traffic is good, the games are good, and the software is good. As the only site drawing from multiple states for its player pool, WSOP.com certainly has a leg up on the competition.
With 888poker as the software provider, WSOP.com is backed by a known platform provider with lots of experience in the world of online poker.
With its brand power, WSOP.com is well positioned to flourish in the regulated U.S. for years to come, especially given that Caesars Entertainment has dozens of land-based properties all over the country that would allow for easier licensing and access for new states that come on board.
For those looking for a regulated online poker site in the U.S., specifically players in Nevada, New Jersey, or Delaware, it’s hard to beat WSOP.com.
