  1. Denis ‘aDrENalin710’ Strebkov has done it again. The PokerStars 2018 World Championship of Online Poker reached the halfway mark on Sunday and biggest story to this point is the amazing run of Russia’s Strebkov. On a day that featured the conclusion of 15 events, Strebkov earned himself his fourth overall WCOOP title. Strebkov topped the 136 runners in Event #21 High ($2,100 Eight Game), the two-day event that featured some of online poker’s top mixed game players. Strebkov took home $70,720 for the win and in doing so, secured his spot at the head of many of the WCOOP leaderboards. Currently, the Russian is sitting atop the High leaderboard, sits second on Medium and holds a sizable lead in the overall rankings. His victory last week in Event #20 Low ($11 No Limit 5 Card Draw) also has him inside the top 10 of the Low leaderboard, where he's currently tied for seventh. The #1-ranked online player in the world picked up his first WCOOP win of 2018. ‘lena900’ engaged in a lengthy heads-up battle with Russia’s ‘Ti0’ for the title in Event #27 Medium ($530 Six Max Pot Limit Omaha). In the end, ‘lena900’ closed it out and added another $58,228.20 to his bankroll, elevating him to over $11.5 million in lifetime earnings. ‘Ti0’s runner-up haul was $40,828.98, good for his largest cash since May 2017. Another notable first was the first WCOOP win for three-time World Series of Poker Bracelet winner Benny ‘RunGodLike’ Glaser. Glaser took down Event #27 Low ($55 Six Max Pot Limit Omaha) for just over $18,000. While Glaser was technically the winner, there was a four-way deal struck which gave Finland’s ‘AllMeMaybe’ the most money. He finished in fourth but walked with $18,562.43. The biggest winner of the day was Tom ’tjbentham’ Bentham who outlasted the 192 players that registered for Event #27 High ($5,200 Six Max Pot Limit Omaha). There were three players who walked with six-figure scores in this tournament, however, it was Bentham that home $191,476.72, the bulk of the $960,000 prize pool. German crusher Ole ‘wizowizo’ Schemion added another trophy to his already packed case with a victory in Event #33 High ($2,100 Six Max No Limit Hold’em). Schemion, one of the most successful tournament players in the world, added another $112,235.51 to his impressive list of cahses. PocketFiver Matthew ‘mjw006’ Wakeman also made an appearance at this final table, bowing out in third place for $61,665.73. With the third-place finish, the Australian finds himself on the cusp of $7 million in lifetime earnings. Additional PocketFivers that were WCOOP winners on Sunday include worldwide #11-ranked Ramiro ‘Ramiro’ Petrone, Nick ‘FU_15’ Maimone, ‘wesko78’, 'Alonsas' and Andrei ‘Premove’ Skvortsov. 2. It's been almost five years since Patrick 'pads1161' Leonard last held down the #1 spot on the PocketFives Rankings. If Sunday is any indication, he just might be back on top very, very soon. The PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller once again attracted many familiar names with one of them being the eventual victor, Leonard. The final table featured the likes of Tomi 'elmerixx' Brouk, Steve 'Mr. Tim Caum' O'Dwyer, 'Lrslzk', 'WATnlos' and 'anteen' who all departed before 'Radioromashka' banked $23,315 in third. World ranked #5 Leonard then got the better of 'imluckbox' heads-up to win the $37,895, with the runner-up awarded $29,724. Czech Republic's Jakub 'Olli444' Oliva secured his biggest online with victory in the PokerStars $109 Sunday Million for $97,937. Oliva took his online earnings over $1.6m after topping the 11,300 player-field once a three-handed money deal was agreed. Poker superstar Ole 'wizowizo' Schemion bowed out in fifth place for $31,874, and 'USARtist' departed in fourth place for $43,922. The final three then looked at the numbers and settled before 'llewxa' exited with the bronze medal and $83,922. 'Goatse213' took away $77,365 in second place and Oliva secured the largest share of the prize pool as well as the gold medal honor. 'Pwndidi' topped a 963 player-field to win the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for over $63,000. 'w3c.RaY' fell in third place for $21,314 + $4,511 in bounty prizes before the final battle saw 'NY17PATS14' become the last player to lose out, and departed in second for $36,568* + $10,203 following a heads-up deal. 'Pwndidi' took the gold for $32,180, as well as a massive $31,780 in bounties. Former Sunday Million champion 'blackaces93' added the PokerStars $215 Sunday Warm-Up to their list of accolades after seeing off a 749 player-field.
