  1. The world of online poker took center stage on Sunday evening after live events such as the WSOPE, and WPT Montreal came to their conclusion, and it was well-known grinder Andras 'probirs' Nemeth who showed his prowess by winning both the PokerStars and partypoker High Roller tournaments. The PokerStars $2,100 Sunday High Roller saw 100 entrants create a $200,000 prize pool with the first-place prize set at $47,398. As always, a stellar line-up played with the final table featuring the likes of Connor 'blanconegro' Drinan and 'hello_totti' in action. Both of those players departed 'bartek901' before took third place for $27,184, and the heads-up match was set. Tomi 'elmerixx' Brouk was unable to get the better of Nemeth and departed in second place $35,895, and Nemeth took the win The Hungarian then picked up his second title of the evening by taking down the partypoker $2,600 Super Sunday High Roller and added another $56,000 to his bankroll. The field was set at 80 entrants with a $200,000 prize pool. 'Dextered' took the bronze medal for $27,000 before Conor 'ADRIEN_BRODY' Beresford was the final player to depart in second place for $39,000, and Nemeth picked up the win to seal a remarkable double achievement. There was a difference of nearly $47,000 between the first and second place prizes, and 'fellatiado' was the unlucky player to fall at the final hurdle and scored $110,192 as runner-up, allowing 'vasilikos7' to pick up the win, the coveted title and $157,025. Javier 'minusth3bear' Zarco took second place in the PokerStars $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for a score worth $41,000, with 'serggorelyi7' claiming victory. 1,043 entrants took part and Lithuania's 'NikiStar777' took third place for $22,400 + $2,847. 2. Every poker player appreciates extra value when it comes to playing tournaments. This Sunday, February 3, 888poker is bringing that extra value to their players with the RakeLESS Sunday Tournament Schedule. On the first Sunday in February, 888poker is offering a slate of their most popular tournaments - all without any fees. That means that every dollar used to buy-in to the tournament will go directly to the prize pool making for some of the most value-heavy contests across any site online this weekend. The schedule includes seven tournaments and boasts guarantees totaling over $270,000. Included in the RakeFREE lineup are 888poker's popular Progressive Knockouts, the $100 Sunday Challenge and the weekly massive $100,000 Mega Deep. The Sunday schedule is headlined by what is sure to be one of the biggest tournament of the weekend, the RakeLESS Sunday Main Event: a $300 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed tournament. Buy-ins for these events start for as little as $7, allowing for grinders at every limit to get involved and take advantage of playing rake free. 888poker RakeLESS Sunday Tournament Schedule Event Buy-in Guarantee Start Time* RakeLESS Sunday PKO 8 Max $80 $15,000 4:30 PM RakeLESS Sunday Mega Deep $200 $100,000 5:30 PM RakeLESS Sunday Mini Mega Deep $20 $20,000 5:31 PM RakeLESS Sunday PKO 8 Max $7 $5,000 6:00 PM RakeLESS Sunday Main Event $300 $100,000 6:30 PM RakeLESS Sunday Challenge $100 $20,000 7:35 PM RakeLESS Sunday Mini Late Mega Deep $20 $10,000 8:31 PM * all times GMT For those looking to get into the RakeLESS $300 Main Event, but perhaps don’t have the bankroll for a direct buy-in, there are $33 satellites running this week with multiple seats guaranteed. To find the satellites, as well as the entire RakeLESS schedule, simply click on the Tournaments Tab in the 888poker client. RakeLESS has its own lobby with all seven tournaments currently open for registration. Of course, there will be plenty of players looking to make sure they get into the $300 Main Event but don’t forget the weekly $100,000 Mega Deep. The Mega Deep is one of 888poker’s marquee weekly events and being rake free will also provide players a value-heavy shot at boosting their bankroll. The $215 Mega Deep is a regular staple of the 888poker Sunday schedule and considered part of the Sunday Majors. This past week, ‘Utf879908’ turned their $215 buy-in into a bankroll changing $19,853 payday by defeating the field of 513 runners. ‘Yattago’ finished right behind him in second place, picking up a healthy $14,877 for his efforts. Week in and week out the Sunday Mega Deep provides five-figure scores to players who make the final table. Without any rake on February 3, there will be thousands of dollars more tossed into the prize pool, making for one of the largest Mega Deep in recent history. So set a calendar reminder to log on to 888poker this Sunday, February 3 and hop into the full slate of rake free tournaments on 888poker.
