In the PocketFives Rankings, it's "Beware of Greeks cracking the top 10." This week, Greece's Damianos 'damourinio' Aslanidis moved up six spots to #8, entering the top 10 for the first time ever. Aslanidis is the top-ranked Greek player and had a colossal 90 in the money finishes over the last eight days, including five wins, which came in the PokerStars Hot $33, PokerStars Bounty Builder, 888 $1,500 Guaranteed Turbo Deep, PokerStars Big $162, and PokerStars $55 No Limit Hold'em. He capped off his big week by final tabling the Super Tuesday for $12,000. Aslanidis has $1.7 million in career online tournament winnings and, after his blockbuster effort, is up to 128 tracked wins and 6,522 PLB points, about 660 off the lead. 'lena900' continues to reign supreme on PocketFives at #1, a spot he has held since March 30. The Swede won both the Winamax High Roller and partypoker Heavyweight Weigh-In over the weekend for 300 PLB Points combined and then finished sixth in the Sunday 500 for another $13,000. 'lena900' leads the Swedish online poker contingent, which holds the top three spots in the rankings, and has 7,184 PLB Points. Nipping at the heels of 'lena900' is fellow Swede 'C Darwin2', who has 7,003 points. The former #1 ranked player final tabled a W Series High Roller event over the weekend and just lapped $3.8 million in career winnings. He was ranked #1 from March 23 to March 30 of this year. Conor '1_conor_b_1' Beresford is on the brink of entering the top 10 worldwide for the first time ever. He moved up 10 spots this week to #11 on the strength of a win in the partypoker High Roller for $12,000 and 251 PLB Points under the screen name 'LarryErbs'. Beresford is the second-ranked player in the UK and #1 in the city of York. Signing up for PocketFives this week and entering his screen names, 'Bausss', from the Czech Republic, vaulted into 24th place in the rankings. He opened the month of April with four wins in two days, including five-figure scores in the Bounty Builder and Big $55 on PokerStars. He has had four top-10 finishes since the rankings were last calculated and can be found under the user name 'MonkeyBausss' online. Also new to the rankings this week is Bristol's 'showers', who signed up for PocketFives on Monday and debuted at #56. 'showers' took down the 888 Whale on Sunday for $34,000 and 423 PLB Points and finished third in the site's Volcano the day before for $13,000. He has 77 career top-three finishes and is nearing $1 million in lifetime winnings.
