[caption width="640"] Fabrzio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez has been #1 for nearly 11 straight weeks (SHRPO photo)[/caption] It has been 75 days since Fabrizio 'SixthSenSe19' Gonzalez became the #1-ranked online poker player in the world and he doesn’t appear ready to let go of that position any time soon despite a full host of world class players doing their best to take it from him. Gonzalez didn’t put in a lot of volume over the last week, cashing just six times with only one of them being good enough to add to his PLB points total. Gonzalez finished 15th in the $300 buy-in Winning Poker Network Sunday Special for $4,100 and 139.26 points. He now sits 1,033.63 points ahead of his nearest competitor, Bulgaria’s Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov. Dimitrov cashed 25 times this last week but with only one of them counting towards his PLB total, he failed to make up any ground on Gonzalez. Dimitrov’s sole big score came in the PokerStars Super-Sized Sunday where he finished sixth for $8,189 and 157.89 points. He’s now been sitting in the #2 spot for seven straight weeks. The next two spots belong to a pair of Swedish players who have both spent time at #1 in 2016. ‘C Darwin2’ sits third with 8,071.3 points while ‘lena900’ is right behind him with 8,351.54 points. ‘C Darwin2’ moved up from #4 thanks to his win in the partypoker $100,000 Guaranteed Super High Roller on Sunday. ‘C Darwin’ beat out 45 other players to win $42,550 and 339.12 points. He also had an eight place finish in the PokerStars Super Tuesday for $8,256/180.03.Meanwhile, ’lena900’ had just seven ITM finishes this week and none were big enough to add to his PLB total to fall from #3 to #4. Joao Mathias 'joaomathias' Baumgarten rounded out the top five. The sole Brazilian to crack the top 10, Baumgarten had 31 cashes this week, highlighted by the only one big enough to boost his PLB total. Baumgarten took down the 888 poker $50,000 QuarterBack event on December 8, beating 204 other players to win $9,207/223.61. Two players moved up into the top 10 this past week. Johannes 'Greenstone25' Korsar went from #11 to #9 while Ludovic 'ludovi333' Geilich hit #10 - his highest ranking ever. Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren and Joel ‘jbrown8777’ Brown fell to #11 and #12 respectively. 2. [caption width="640"] Fabrzio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez saw his lead atop the PocketFives Rankings shrink this week. (SHRPO photo)[/caption] Fabrizio 'SixthSenSe19' Gonzalez has now been the #1-ranked online poker player in the world but in the last week the two players right behind him, Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov and 'C Darwin2', continue to move closer to the top spot. While Gonzalez and Dimitrov continue to hold down the top two spots, both did so without having recorded any scores over the past week that added to their PLB score. Gonzalez finished ITM just nine times while Dimitrov, known for putting in a higher volume than any other player in the top ten, cashed just 12 times with none of them earning more than 62 PLB points. Dimitrov closed the gap without scoring any additional PLB points as some of Gonzalez's older cashes fell off his score. Meanwhile, Sweden's 'C Darwin' however moved closer to Gonzalez thanks to two big scores. The first came on December 18 when he finished 11th in PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $3,263 and 148.19 PLB points. That same day he final-tabled the partypoker Six-Max Turbo High Roller for $6,240/117.96. Fellow Swede ‘lena900' maintained the #4 spot despite not recording a single cash all week. Brazilian Joao Mathias 'joaomathias' Baumgarten managed to record 37 cashes, but only one of them earned him enough points to add to his total. Baumgarten won the PokerStars Big $55 on December 14 for $9,734/243.52. Andras 'probirs' Nemeth and Anton 'AnteSvante' Wigg held on to the #6 and #7 spots respectively to leave the top seven spots unchanged from last week. Sweden's Andreas ‘r4ndomr4gs’ Berggren moved up from #11 to #8 based on two wins on December 15. He won the PokerStars.com Hot $33 for $4,294/160.34 and the Thursday Full KO on PokerStars.fr for $5,145/130.95. Johannes 'Greenstone25' Korsar was the only player to fall out of the top ten. Korsar went from #9 to #12. 3. [caption width="640"] Despite spending all week at the PokerStars Championship Bahamas, Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez held on to the top spot.(PokerStars photo)[/caption] It’s been 14 weeks since somebody other than Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez has held down the #1 spot in the PocketFives Worldwide Rankings. Gonzalez held on to the top spot this week despite the fact he played a full schedule at the PokerStars Championship Bahamas. Despite just five cashes - and none big enough to add to his PLB score - Gonzalez still held off challenges from ‘C Darwin2’ and Alex ‘alexd2’ Dimitrov. ‘C Darwin2’, one of four Swedish players in the top 10, started the week off in the right way with a win in the PokerStars Hot $162 for $7,062 and 191.31 points. Despite 14 more cashes during the week however, he was unable to find another result good enough to add to his total. Dimitrov also had a slow week - one of his slowest in recent memory. The Bulgarian grinder, known for playing a higher volume than others in the top 10, cashed just seven times and not a single one helped him close the gap on ‘C Darwin2’ or Gonzalez. The next Swede in the rankings, ‘lena900’, had 34 in-the-money finishes but only one, where he took fourth place in the partypoker High Roller on January 4, was good enough to add to his points total. He walked away from that event with $8,147 in cash and 141.72 points. The top five is rounded out by the #1 player out of Brazil, Joao Mathias 'joaomathias' Baumgarten. The former #1-ranked Baumgarten had 35 cashes this past week and just like other above him in the standings, only one was good enough to count toward his total. Finishing sixth in the partypoker Heavyweight on January 8, Baumgarten won $6,875 and added 120.66 points. The only player to move into the top 10 this week was Conor '1_conor_b_1' Beresford. The UK-grinder moved up to #10 from #11, swapping places with Cristian ‘progre69’ Sampaoli, thanks to a win in the PokerStars $55 Six Max Progressive KO event on January 9. He added $2,066 to his bankroll but also an additional 107.59 PLB points to his total. He’s now 53.46 ahead of Sampaoli. 4. [caption width="640"] Fabrizio 'SixthSenSe19' Gonzalez continues to lead the PocketFives Worldwide Rankings but has a group of Swedes behind him[/caption] For the fourth consecutive week Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez remained as the world’s #1-ranked online poker player, but there’s five different players from Sweden attempting to chase him down. Gonzalez has 154.38 PLB point lead over his next closest competitor despite not having posted a qualifying cash in over a month. Gonzalez managed just four cashes this past week, and none were big enough to add to his PLB total. The last time he had a result strong enough to count was February 7 when he won the partypoker High Roller. ‘Lena900’ wasn’t able to take full advantage of Gonzalez’s slow week though, grabbing just one score big enough to add to his total. The former #1-ranked player beat out 187 other players to win the PokerStars Big $162 on March 5 for $5,606 and 167.93 points. ‘C Darwin2’ maintained his hold on the #3 spot but also failed to make up any ground on Gonzalez. Despite cashing 16 times last week, none were good enough to add to his points total. He finished the week 303.08 points behind ‘lena900’ and 457.46 behind Gonzalez. While the top three remained unchanged this week, one player moved up three spots and into the top five for the first time since 2016. ‘Ariados’ continued his hot play as of late with a win in the partypoker $2,600 buy-in Super High Roller and a fourth place finish in the partypoker $530 buy-in High Roller on Sunday. Those two cashes added $65,376 to his bankroll and 598.01 PLB points to his total to move him from #7 to #4. Two more players re-entered the top ten this week. Russia’s Alexandr 'Blackk' Trofimov went from #11 to #8 on the heels of three qualifying cashes that earned him a total of 345.53 points. His biggest score came in a PokerStars $109 Six Max Hyper Turbo for $4,532 and 151.81 points. Another Russian player, ‘veeea’ went from #13 to #9 after finishing third in a partypoker High Roller for $7,191/124.04 and runner up win another partypoker Six Max High Roller for $11,366/178.26. Nicolas ‘PokerKaiser’ Fierro, who surpassed $10,000,000 in lifetime earnings this week, dropped from #8 to #12.
