[caption width="640"] The Next Level Poker Series is going to take poker to the next level.[/caption] Poker players in the Midwest suddenly have another reason to be excited thanks to the launch of the newest poker tournament series, Next Level Poker. Created, in part, by WSOP bracelet winner Chris Wallace, Next Level is set to host their first event in late November. “Some of the passionate poker players in the United States call the Midwest home,” said Wallace. “And we knew there was no better place to launch Next Level Poker than right there.“ The first series runs November 5 - 26 at Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood, Iowa, right on the border of Iowa and Minnesota. The casino is two hours from Minneapolis-St. Paul and just over two hours from Des Moines. PocketFives has partnered with Next Level Poker and to help promote the launch of his new series and will be hosting the PocketFives Invitational on November 21. The eight-handed sit-n-go will award a seat to the $750 buy-in Championship event plus over $300 in other prizes. The PocketFives Invitational will be live-streamed on Twitch. Click here for more information on how you can get a seat to this event. Next Level Poker plans on paying out roughly 16% of the field in their Championship events. This is designed to give recreational players a better chance of cashing than other local tournaments. “Everything we’re building here is done with players of all skill levels in mind,” said Wallace. “First and foremost, poker is a fun game played by more than just the pros. We need to keep that in mind.” The Championship Event, which has a $675 + $75 buy-in, features three starting flights, with the first on Friday, November 24. The second and third flights are on Saturday, November 25 with the event playing down to a winner, also live on Twitch, on Sunday, November 26.
