  1. With impressive result after impressive result, we suppose it was only a matter of time until CrownUpGuy(pictured) became the #1 player in the PocketFives Poker Rankings. This week, he moved up two spots and officially became the new top dog on our site. His poker resume is quite impressive, as the Austrian won the WCOOP Main Event, Full TiltSunday Major, and PokerStars Sunday 500 in back-to-back-to-back months (September, October, November). He only returned 19 online MTT scores in November, but has still managed to pile up $2.7 million in lifetime winnings across 499 cashes, an average of $5,449 apiece. He has five scores of at least $50,000 and 13 of at least $10,000. For the first time in a few weeks, we had a new entrant into the top 10, Finland's European, who rose from #16 to #10. European won a $320 NLHE Six-Max tournament on PokerStars on Tuesday for $10,000. Over the weekend, he took down a $215 Weekly Six-Max NLHE tournament on the same site for another $15,000. European was ranked as high as #3 on PocketFives earlier this year. Mexico's norfair18 shot up 26 spots in the Rankings from #74 to #48. He just passed $1 million in career winnings and won a $215 Weekly Turbo NLHE tournament on PokerStars on Saturday for $19,000. This is the highest he has ever been slotted and he is #2 in his home country. Longtime PocketFiver Mark dipthrong Herm (pictured) debuted in the top 100 at #54 after winning two FTOPS events this month. He took down a $530 Mixed 10-Game Six-Max event for $18,000 and, three days later, emerged victorious from the field of a $109 NLHE Rush Rebuy for another $17,000. All told, he won five MTTs over the first seven days of December. PocketFiver StrungOut1 also debuted in the top 100 this week and entered at #58. He took down the Hotter $75 on Sunday for $25,000 and is up to $3.4 million in career online tournament winnings. He was once ranked as high as #28 worldwide and seems to be poised for another run at the top. Finally this week, we wanted to highlight Sweden's Pot4teUS, who cracked the top 100 at #75 in the world, his highest position ever. He won the Saturday Super Knockout for $26,000 over the weekend on PokerStars, where he plays under the user name TanTanSWE. We won't make you wait any longer. 2. It's Wednesday, which means the PocketFives Rankingshave been recalculated. Moving up from #12 to #4 this week and knocking on the door of the top spot worldwide is Canada's StrungOut1. He just hit $4 million in career online tournament winnings and finished fourth in the Super Tuesday in March for $48,000. Ten days ago, StrungOut1 took second in the Sunday Supersonic for $37,000. The #4 ranking is his best showing ever and he is the top-ranked PocketFives member from Canada. He has logged a blistering 7,250 in the money finishes, 184 of which (2.5%) are for wins. We had four new entrants into the top 10 this week, the most in quite some time. Climbing from #14 to #6 was Denmark's sifosis, who is currently sitting at his highest ranking ever. He has over $3.1 million in winnings on PokerStarsalone and is the top-ranked player in the Denmark poker community. The third new entrant into the top 10 worldwide on PocketFives was x_zola25, who moved up four spots to #9. 3. Here's something you don't see every day. On Wednesday, the PocketFives Poker Player Rankingswere updated and Nico PokerKaiserFierro (pictured) was #1 for the third consecutive week. However, nipping at his heels is Mike norfair18 Phillips, who is trailing Fierro by one PLB Point. The scores: 7,083.89 to 7,082.70. Fierro, who is from Chile, has long been a fixture of the PocketFives Rankings and been part of our site since 2007. He won an $82 NLHE Six-Max Hyper-Turbo on PokerStars on Tuesday for $3,800 and 131 PLB Points, along with the site's $55 NLHE and PokerStars.fr Big €25 on Monday, to keep his top-ranked streak alive. Meanwhile, Phillips finished third in the Super Sized Sunday over the weekend for $13,000 and 168 PLB Points. A few days before that, he took down the PartyPoker Daily Major and put back $4,800. He just passed $1.5 million in career online tournament winnings and could be ranked #1 as soon as next week. There were no new entrants in the top 10 worldwide this week, but just outside of the top 10, Canada's StrungOut1 moved up 49 spots to settle at #14. Entering his screen names was enough to prompt the move, and he took down the PokerStars $55 NLHE Cubed on Tuesday for a little over $2,000. 4. After an impressive 16-week run by Nico PokerKaiserFierro (pictured) at the top of the PocketFives Rankingsended on August 26, we now have our second straight week with a new #1. This time, it's Canada's StrungOut1, who reentered his screen names and instantly vaulted to the top. --- Tournament Poker Edgeis the only poker training site dedicated exclusively to MTTs and features over 1,000 training videos, blogs, articles, podcasts and a dedicated strategy forum for members. Check Tournament Poker Edge out on Twitter. --- StrungOut1 has 201 tracked victories in online MTTs and almost 500 top-three finishes. He had four wins in August, including a smashing $145,000 score for taking down the Sunday Million. That was worth 1,000 PLB Points and propelled him to 7,152 points overall, about 150 ahead of second place in the Rankings, which belongs to Aaron aguskb Gustavson. Gustavson (pictured) dethroned Fierro last week and currently sits at #2 worldwide. He is approaching $4 million in career scores online and has another $1.5 million in the live arena. His third largest score ever came earlier this year, a $52,000 haul for finishing as the runner-up in the PokerStars Super Tuesday. Fierro won the 888Mega Deep twice earlier this year for almost $70,000 total and continues to pace the Chile poker community. A familiar face in the Rankings, r4ndomr4gs, aka Andreas Berggren, moved up from #12 to #6 this week.
