  1. Friday was a slower day for the partypoker POWERFEST, as things geared up for the big weekend ahead. That doesn't mean there wasn't some big winners, though. In the $320 NLHE [8-Max, PKO] tournament, 'frenchsniperrr' finished in first place atop the 333-entry field to win $7,652.86 in first-place prize money plus $5,176.38 in bounties. In the $530 NLHE [6-Max, PKO] event, 'WhatifPIOswrong' scooped $31,422.66 from $12,629.16 in first-place prize money plus $18,793.50 in bounties. He defeated 'Balls2Heart1' in heads-up play, with 'Balls2Heart1' taking $12,613.70 plus $2,149.20 in bounties.
  2. Just five days ago, 'CalmDownMan' stood tall after winning POWERFEST Event #35-SHR ($5,200 Six Max NLHE PKO) for $147K. On Monday, they added another partypoker POWERFEST title to their resume by winning Event #79-HR ($530 Eight Max NLHE Grind) for $26,865. 'CalmDownMan' outlasted the other 269 players to win the tournament. Finishing as the runner-up earned 'STAY_HUNGRY' $19,440 and 'SonOfPunt' earned $13,635. The biggest winner on the day was 'fromHOlland1945' who scored $49,066.02 after navigating their way through the 197-player field in Event #80-HR ($1,050 Mix Max NLHE) for $49,066
