Filipe Oliveira has a quiet, unassuming presence at the poker table. No temper tantrums, no trash talk, no outward emotion after a bad beat. You might think it has something to do with playing poker in a tropical location such as the Bahamas. Apparently, it's the exact opposite. "The Bahamas likes me," Oliveira joked on Day 3 of the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event. No kidding. In November, Oliveira topped the 1,815 player field to win the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party Main Event at the Baha Mar resort in Nassau for $1.5 million. He showed up to the Atlantis Resort last
Filipe 'Zagazaur' Oliveira didn't take home the biggest score in Wednesday's PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker winners, but the Portuguese poker pro did grab most of the attention after winning his third title in five days. This victory comes just two days after he shipped Event #41 High for $359,309.64 and five days after he won Event #28 (Medium) for $185,467.46. Runner-up 'cartoon2387' earned $26,800 as the runner-up and 'XD89lol' banked $20,100 for finishing in third

Oliveira beat Mario 'MB TREMENDO' Bonanata heads-up to win Event #41 High (UFC Heavyweight: $10,300 No Limit Hold’em Eight Max PKO). Oliveira's first 2019 title came just three days ag

In January, Hohner finished second in the Borgata Winter Poker Open Kick-Off Event and picked up a career-best cash of $245,967. In July, he picked up his first cash in the World Series of Poker Main Event for $33,305.
