Enter DraftKings, which is running a mammoth $1,500 buy-in NFL Main Event in Week 16. This 2,960-player contest features $4 million in total prizes and pays out the top 589 finishing positions. First place wins $1 million, so there’s plenty to play for.

Here’s how the field will cash out:

1st place: $1,000,000
2nd place: $350,000
3rd place: $200,000
4th place: $100,000
5th place: $75,000
6th place: $50,000
7th – 8th places: $35,000
9th – 10th places: $25,000
11th – 15th places: $15,000
16th – 25th places: $12,500
26th – 40th places: $10,000
41st – 60th places: $7,500
61st – 100th places: $5,000
101st – 175th places: $4,000
176th – 315th places: $3,000
316th – 589th places: $2,500

At the time of writing, there are 1,061 entrants, so it might not be too surprising to see this contest fill.

The most expensive players include Tom Brady at the Jets ($7,500), Cam Newton at Atlanta ($7,500), Devonta Freeman against Carolina ($7,400), Adrian Peterson against the Giants ($7,300), Antonio Brown at Baltimore ($9,300), DeAndre Hopkins at Tennessee ($8,400), Rob Gronkowski at the Jets ($7,600), Greg Olsen at Atlanta ($7,000), Seattle’s defense against St. Louis ($4,300), and Kansas City’s defense against Cleveland ($4,200).

You’ll get a fixed salary cap of $50,000 to compile a nine-man roster. DraftKings has PPR scoring, so keep that in mind when setting your lineups. You’ll start one QB, two RBs, three WRs, one TE, one FLEX, and one Defense.
