Peyton Manning could help someone win million this weekend

If you’re a fan of the Vikings, Bengals, Texans, or Redskins, you got to watch your team lose at home in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. Rather than throw in the towel on the NFL season, keep it going with some daily fantasy football.

This weekend, DraftKingsis hosting an NFL Divisional Round Millionaire Maker. It has a $100 buy-in, pricier than previous Millionaire Makers, but, as a result, the field will only have, at most, 33,300 lineups. That means a player’s odds of getting the $1 million top prize are significantly better than previous Millionaire Makers that have had almost one million entries.

Four games will take place during the Divisional Round, all of which count for the Millionaire Maker, and they start on Saturday at 4:35pm ET: Kansas City at New England, Pittsburgh at Denver, Green Bay at Arizona, and Seattle at Carolina. Consequently, it’ll take a very unique lineup filled with some well-timed dart throws in order to win the Millionaire Maker or any other tournament on the slate at DraftKings this weekend.

At DraftKings, you’ll select one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, and one defense. The scoring system is somewhat skewed toward receivers and pass-catching running backs, as you get one point per 10 yards receiving or rushing and one point per reception.

Cam Newton is the most expensive quarterback at $7,500. DeAngelo Williams, who might not play, is the most expensive running back at $6,800. Antonio Brown is the most expensive receiver at $9,800, almost $3,000 more than the next priciest wideout. Rob Gronkowski, who didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday, is the most expensive tight end at $7,500. The most expensive defense is Seattle at $4,100. You have $50,000 to fill out your nine-man roster, an average of $5,555 per player.

If a $100 buy-in DFS tournament is not in the cards, DraftKings is also running a $3 buy-in NFL Play-Action. It awards $100,000 to the winner and is free to anyone who makes their first deposit.
