According to the Associated Press, 37 companies have applied for various applications as part of New Jersey‘s soon-to-be-unleashed online gambling market, which is scheduled to open on November 23. The launch will reportedly be similar to what occurred in France, where a large group of sites opened simultaneously. Ten of New Jersey’s 12 casinos have already partnered with a software provider after a filing deadline came and went on Monday.

InterPokerhas been securely dealing cards since 2002. The recently re-launched site offers a wide array of promotionslike $10 cash free for new players as well as a 25K race for SnG players. WSOP qualifiers are also running now. Check out the new and improved InterPoker.

Remember, only the dozen land-based casinos in New Jersey can actually operate internet gambling sites, but, according to the Associated Press, “All the vendors in the enterprise must be licensed. Monday’s deadline was for those groups, including payment processing firms, networking companies, software providers, and others connected to online gambling.”

Additional firms can still apply to be part of the nation’s second legal internet gambling market even after Monday’s deadline, but they won’t be guaranteed to launch in November. In the meantime, Atlantic City’s fledgling casinos have been pairing up with established and up-and-coming internet gambling outlets, readying for the “big dance.” Ultimate Poker inked a deal earlier this month with Trump Taj Mahal, and gaming officials must approve a partnership between PokerStars and Resorts (pictured) that was inked around July 4.

The Associated Press pointed out that two internet gambling firms have attempted to buy their way into the New Jersey market since a land-based casino must exist for a company to operate a site. Last week, it was revealed that 2UP Gaming and MidOil USA had raised over $300 million to purchase an Atlantic City casino, although what establishment the two companies will target remains to be seen. PokerStars tried to purchase the Atlantic Club before an alleged missed filing deadline triggered a falling out.

Here is a list of the existing, announced partnerships between land-based casinos and online gambling firms in New Jersey. Additional agreements could be unveiled in the near future. Thanks to the Press of Atlantic City for publishing this information:
