In order to qualify for the Grand Final, all you need to do is finish in the top eight in an $8,888 Mad Freeroll, play your way to the top of the site’s $8 Mad Freeroll Satellites, get eight $8,888 Mad Freeroll tickets, reach showdown with a full house that includes three eights, or reach showdown with quad eights in any cash game or tournament.
888 is sending Mad Month Packages to new and existing players that consist of a ticket to an $8,888 Mad Freeroll, a special 100% up to $888 deposit bonus, and $8 in free play at its New Jersey online casino. Players will be emailed a link to claim their Mad Month Package; check your spam folder if you don’t receive yours.
Additional tickets to the $8,888 Mad Freerolls can be obtained by completing one of three daily challenges on 888 Poker. First, play in 88 raked cash game hands. Second, play in tournaments totaling $8 in buy-ins. Finally, wager $88 on any casino game. Each day resets nightly at Midnight Eastern Time, so make sure you budget your time accordingly. Play at heads-up tables and in freerolls doesn’t count for the daily challenges.

The big $88,888 tournament will be held on April 6 and the $8,888 freerolls take place every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday starting this Friday and running through April 4. According to 888’s website, all freerolls require at least 200 participants in order for them to take place.

888’s largest tournament in New Jersey is the Big Sunday, which has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool and a $200 buy-in. Last week, there were 58 entrants and first place walked away with $3,200. It runs every Sunday on the legal and regulated site.
