Nevada Weekday Tournament Review for April 4, 2014

In Nevada this week, WSOP.com ran three of its four $3,000 events as scheduled. On Wednesday, the site ran a special satellite for two $1,500 seats to the 2014 World Series of Poker. All of the events exceeded their guarantees. There were 237 runners with a total prize pool of 17,750 paid to 31 players.

The players with the highest valued prizes won were BBkingsand Bosox15, each winning a $1,500 seat to an upcoming WSOP event.

The player with the highest cash win was kidyahtzeewith a payout of $1,450 for taking down Thursday night’s event. It was the first $3,000 event this year that kidyahtzee has made a final table, and he did it with a first place showing. kidyahtzee plays regularly in the lower guarantee events with good results and looks like he is moving up in stakes.

This week, Ultimate Poker held four tournaments, the $2,500 Nightly events. There were 143 runners generating a prize pool of $13,604 and paying a total of 22 spots. The highest cash this week went to Rick2007for $1,531.

Rick2007 has been consistently grinding these events and has cashed at least 30 times for over $17,000 this year alone. He is definitely a player to watch in the upcoming months.
