Nevada Weekend Tournament Review for May 12, 2014

In Nevada, WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with seven major events including the Weekend Warm-Up $5,000 Guarantee, Re-Entry R&A $3,000 Guarantee, and $15,000 Weekly Sunday Guarantee. WSOP.com had 432 runners vying for the 49 available prizes totaling $49,880. One of the events was a $215 buy-in with the top prize of an entry to the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event worth $10,000.

The player with the highest individual prize this weekend on WSOP.com was Yinzer11in the WSOP Main Event Qualifier, winning a $10,000 seat for his first cash this year.

The player with the highest cash prize was mnbass1, who took down the $15,000 Sunday event for $4,446, bringing his total cashes to almost $10,000 this year.

Friday night’s $3,000 event was won by buttersfor $1,435 and was his 13th cash this year in the larger guarantee events, bringing his winningsto over $23,000. This includes winning a $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat and a $1,500 WSOP event ticket. Combine those with over $10,000 on Ultimate Poker and butters has won over $33,000 this year.

The Saturday Weekly Warm-up was won by ucheckicheck, who took home $2,627, his fifth cash this year. The score brought his winnings to over $10,000.

Brascowon the Saturday Re-Entry for $939, marking his first time cashing in a larger guarantee event. Sgt.Pepper took down the Sunday Freezeout for 961.00. This is his fourth cash and second outright win this season. Carl0sDangerwon the Sunday $3,000 event, winning $1,595 and getting his first victory in four attempts this year.

This weekend saw Ultimate Poker run four major events. There were 160 runners fighting for the 21 prize spots available, totaling $18,508.

The player with the highest individual cash was TheOtherDavein the Sunday $10,000 for $2,900. That event had an overlay of $2,356, as the guarantee was not met. It was the first final table and cash for TheOtherDave.
