Nevada Weekend Tournament Review for September 1, 2014

In Nevada, WSOP.com kicked off its weekend with seven major events including the Weekend Warm-Up $5,000 Guarantee and Re-Entry R&A $3,000 Guarantee on Saturday and the Freezeout and $15,000 Weekly Guarantee on Sunday. Two events did not meet their guarantees; the Weekly-Warm-Up had an overlay of $200 and the Re-Entry event’s overlay was $630.

WSOP.com had 332 runners vying for the 47 available prizes totaling $36,550. The player with the highest individual cash was voffvoffvoffin the Sunday $15,000 for $5,472. A PocketFives member, voff is now approaching $10,000 in payouts this year. It was his first takedown in seven attempts.

This weekend saw Ultimate Poker run five major events .There were 161 runners fighting for the 20 prize spots available totaling $17,050. The player with the highest individual cash was donkbotin the Sunday $10,000 for $2,900. That event had an overlay of $1,719, as the guarantee was not met.
