It’s Wednesday, which means the PocketFives Poker Rankingshave been recalculated. p0cket00(pictured), a former #1 player, is knocking on the door of the top spot once again after moving up from #5 to #2 this week. However, it could be tough to overtake r4ndomr4gs for #1, as the leader has 8,226 PLB Points, 400 more than p0cket00.

p0cket00 has had a rock solid last five days, winning the PokerStarsBig $162 for $17,000, taking second in the Full Tilt Poker Sunday Major for $23,000, and winning the PokerStars $320 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max for $8,700. He has almost 500 top-three finishes online and has $7.8 million in tracked scores, the second highest total of any member of PocketFives.

We had two new entrants into the top 10 this week. We’ll start with Vancouver’s jbrown8777, who moved up from #16 to #9, his highest position ever. So far this month, jbrown8777 has turned in 93 in the money finishes for a total of $139,000, an average of about $1,500 a pop. He has recorded nine wins over that time span, bringing his career total to 101.

Advancing seven spots to land at #10 in the world was Germany’s Fresh_Oo_D. He has $2.5 million in online scores and plays as SoFrischSoGuton Full Tilt. Fresh_Oo_D is the only PocketFiver with a PLB score in the German town of Steinfurt, which has a population of just over 30,000.

Outside of the top 10, one of the largest jumps of the week went to Russia’s veeea(pictured), who won his first PocketFives Triple Crown last Wednesday and took down the Full Tilt Big Ben on June 22 for $13,000. On June 16, he emerged victorious in the PokerStars.fr Summer Special for $26,000. This week, veeea moved up from #78 to #41 worldwide.

Mexico’s Andrew APDDean (pictured) reentered the top 100 at #69 in the world on the strength of a win in the PokerStars Bigger $162 three days ago for $35,000 in cash plus 458 PLB Points. The day before, Dean won the PokerStars Hot $75 for $9,700 and 230 PLB Points. He is the second-ranked player in the poker hotspot of Playa del Carmen and earned a $3 million cash badge on June 22.

Finally, we wanted to single out Romania’s 1banditpanda, who moved up from #100 to #72. He final tabled the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance and Sunday $100 Rebuy on the same day ten days ago for $34,000 total. He is approaching 200 tracked wins and was ranked as high as #2 on PocketFives in 2012.
